Chapitre 3 - Haha taking a phone call? No way.

" Be happy I saw you. Your friends are searching for you everywhere."

He said without looking back at Soobin, his hand still holding the other's. His feline's eyes were scanning the area, maybe looking for Kai and Taehyun.

Soobin couldn't stop looking at the boy’s back, trying to understand what was going on. How did I get into this situation ?

" By the way, are you okay ? Soobin ? Soobin ? "

The dancer stopped and was looking back at the boy he just saved, who looked like he was either in deep thoughts or total blankness.
After a few seconds, Soobin opened his mouth :

"H-How do you know my name ?"
"I heard your friends calling for you, is it okay if I call you like that ? Did I do wrong ? "
Soobin shook his head "NO- eh I mean no it's okay…Thank you for… for earlier… "

He looked at the ground, apparently embarrassed by the way he got to speak to his crush for the first time. Why does it got to be like this ?

" Hey look up, it's okay... By the way, I often see you there, your eyes are always stuck on me my friends are saying. Do you like me that much ? " He asked with an amused smile.

Soobin looked up really fast, triggered by the boldness of his crush.
" N-No I-" he panicked
" Relax, relax I'm just teasing you. You're cute. Give me your phone."
"Huh?"
"Give me your phone"

Soobin slowly picked his phone from his pocket and hold it out to him with a questioning  look.

"What's your friend's contact?"

Oh that was for that.
He's not disappointed at all.

He looked at the blue haired boy making a call to his friend. He felt like a child.
Why is he taking care of me like that?

Not that he disliked that, heaven knew he didn't.

"They are coming here now, I gotta go find my friends too! Next time you come here, you can come and talk to me instead of just looking" he winked and left, just before Kai and Taehyun arrive.

He knows.

"Waaaaah Soobin are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere? Where did you go I was so afraid I lost you, and you didn’t answer the phone!!" Kai engulfed his friend in a tight hug, as he hugged back.
"I'm sorry Kai I’m okay now, you ran so fast I couldn't keep up" He laughed.
"Who was the boy who made the call? Did he found you?" Taehyun asked, curiosity painted in his eyes.
"OMG GUYS YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE ME, IT WAS HIM" Soobin whisper-yelled, unable to contain his excitement.
"Him who?" Taehyun asked.
"MY FREAKING CRUSH"
"Wait what h o w?" Kai asked his eyes wide open.
"I don't know he heard you searched me and oh my god I forgot to ask for his name"
Kai gave a small hit to the bunny's arm "How could you forget that?"

On their way to Taehyun's house, Soobin explained the detailed story to his friends and everything he felt. How cool and handsome his crush was. And also how teasing.
Listening carefully to the story, the smartest of the three seemed thoughtful.

"Soobin, can you let me see your phone please?" he asked politely.

As soon as he got it, the two other boys looked over his shoulder to see what he was doing.
As he was scrolling thought the contact list, Taehyun stopped in front of a certain name. Soobin frowned.

"Wait I don't know any Yeonjun. Who is that? How did it get there? And what's with the heart at the end?"
"I knew it. Soobin your crush is very flirty and also, I think he's interested in you."
"What do you mean?"
"Is that... His number?" Kai asked carefully, pointing the service with his finger.
"Omg give me that back" Soobin snatched the phone from his friend's hands and stared at the new contact, verifying the date of creation to make sure it wasn't false.
"It's him. It's really him."

Soobin felt his heart burn and bring warm to his cheeks.

Later that evening, they decided to throw a pajama party in honor of the encounter of the day.

"But really tho you should become profiler hyunie !" Kai said excitedly
"He's right, I was so surprised you thought he might have put his number in my phone !" The taller added.

The boy just shrugged and smiled at his friend's eagerness.

"By the way, what are you going to do Soobin? About Yeonjun." He asked.

Soobin felt his heart skip a bit when he heard his name. He would really like to message him, but he's way to shy to do so…

"I don't know, I don't think I can send something right now… What am I supposed to say? Should I introduce myself? What if he's busy? What if I annoy him?"

Kai rolled his eyes and took the phone.

"You're thinking too much, let me help you." And he pressed the call buttons on the new contact.
"WAIT WHAT KAI I-"
"He answered, take the call now." Kai handed the phone to him.

"Hello? Who's calling?"
"H-h-hi it's me" Soobin was feeling like dying right now.
