Drama Club is by far the most underwhelming song out of K-12. In this metaphor, it seems that Melanie is referring that being in a drama club is a direct correlation of being in the school...
"I never signed up for your drama (ooh) Up for your drama, up for your drama club"
But Crybaby also talks about how many of the other students are okay with this control to act like an emotionless puppet, and some even go along with it...
"Do you even have a brain? You're sticking to a page You're faking all your pain, yeah, you're bleeding on a stage"
But moving on to the music video of this song, there is a pause between the second choruses and bridge where Crybaby screams: "Open your eyes!", and then everyone is off the supposed "spell" that was cast on the students. Lastly, they follow Crybaby and Angelina's lead to end up literally tearing apart the principal...which is pretty harsh, but well deserved in my opinion.
