"Come with me Qamar Hatun, the Valide wants to see you," Nigar Kalfa said making me look up from the notebook in my lap. I moved it to the side and stood up fixing myself before walking over to her.

"Do you know what she wants?" I asked as we walked down the harem. The girls were running around us trying to get their daily work done while Daye hatun was lecturing Sumbul agha about something, we bowed to her as we passed by and she gave us a mere nod and continued.

"No idea" she answered as we walked up the stairs

"No idea" she answered as we walked up the stairs. She opened the doors and nodded for me to go in. It felt weird still being in this castle after a small while but I was starting to get used to it all.

Suleiman wasn't here anymore, he went on his campaign leaving me here with only his mother and sister as protection from Hurrem and I was really terrified because of her silence, she's probably waiting until she gives birth before doing anything.

"Sultanim" I bowed to her before she beckoned me over. I looked up and at the people in the room who looked back at me as I walked over to the Valide. Mahidevran had that jealous look in her eyes that she always has when I or Hurrem are around and I completely understand her. Hatice sultan was watching my every step but she seemed very relaxed as she turned to Gulfem and they whispered to each other.

I kneeled in front of the Valide and took her hand in mine kissing the back of it before sitting down on a pillow in front of Mahidevran and beside Gulfem who I had no problems with at all.

"How are you feeling, Qamar?" The Valide sultan asked as I settled down and fixed my dress around me.

"Very well sultana, you do not have to worry about the prince or sultana, I've been taking really good care of them as you instructed" I answered with a bow to my head. I never specified what I was having because I knew the Valide didn't like big talk at all.

"Very good Qamar," she said smiling approvingly at me. I moved my gaze to Mahidevran sultan whose gaze was somewhere else, on my neck. I remembered the necklace I was wearing around my neck, it was the tulip flower, it represented the Othman family and the sultan sent it to me with a letter.

Take good care of it my moon for this necklace's meaning is much deeper and more important than anything. This tulip represents me and I do not believe you would wish to disrespect me or my family.

My hand unconscious went up to my neck and I started running my fingers over the beautiful diamonds that glittered whenever the sun would hit them.

"We were thinking about having lunch in the garden, what do you think?" Valide asked earning my attention again.

"Of course my Valide, whatever you see is fitting. It is a very nice day after all" she smiled and stood up to get ready.

I stood beside the doors with the other sultanas waiting for the Valide to arrive and lead the way. I looked beside me when I felt a tug at my dress to see Mustafa looking up at me with a cute smile, I shook my head at him playfully making him giggle.

"He really likes you" I looked up at Mahidevran sultan who was the one to speak

"He really likes you" I looked up at Mahidevran sultan who was the one to speak. I smiled lightly at her.

"I really like him too" she smiled at my answer. We both turned to the Valide that walked over with no other than Hurrem behind her waddling as she had her arms wrapped around her belly and her trusty maid behind her with Mehmed. I have never seen prince Mehmed before but he was such a cutie at this age.

She looked at us as if she was if higher status as she walked stopping only for Hatice sultan to walked before her then she continued. I looked at Mahidevran sultan who only glared at Hurrem who was walking in front of us.

"Ignore her sultana, she's doing this because she's jealous she's losing the sultan" I muttered to her. She nodded her head at me and turned to her son who was running beside us.

"I can't wait for the day she finally realizes that she's nothing," Mahidevran sultan said. I nodded my head in agreement and continued walking alongside her until we reached the tent that was set up for us.

The Valide sat on the throne in the middle and to her right sat Hatice sultan and to her left Mahidvran also on thrones but much smaller than hers. Mahidevran surprisingly let Mustafa sit down beside me and let me feed him before he ran off to play with the palace guards with wooden swords.

"You will be a very good mother to this baby Qamar," the Valide said earning my attention from the cup in my hand. I looked at Hurrem who looked like she was ready to explode from anger, I knew she never got a compliment like that before and it bothered her that I was getting them and I'm not even a mother yet.

"Thank you Valide" I bowed my head and turned back to the food in front of me. I looked at Mustafa who let out a battle cry as he lunged on the guard who took a fake step back as if the blow was hard enough to knock him off his feet. The sight made my heart flutter as the guard laid on the floor not daring to move as the prince placed his foot on his chest and yelled victoriously making us laugh. I can't wait for my baby to be born into this world and bring the same joy Mustafa was bringing to this family. I looked down and started rubbing my stomach that I can't call flat anymore but not swollen at all since it was barely seen if you didn't look close enough.
