The Traveller woke up, he groaned a little when the sunlight suddenly hit his eyes. He blinked multiple times before looking around. He found that he was tied to a tree. He looked to the trees next to the one that he was tied to and saw the rest of the group tied to each of their own individual trees. The person who was in the middle of the circle-like formation of the trees was guard number 9, the "farmer's girl. She didn't look so innocent now, especially not when holding two curved swords that looked dangerously sharp and lethal. "I love getting secrets exposed, I've killed plenty of people with their own secrets, making them demented, out of their minds, destroying friendships" she said sweetly "So now it's your turn now" she started toward Blue, then pressed one of her blades sideways onto his chest. It glowed a bit and then Blue blurted out, "I-i like boys" and then started crying the moment those words came out of his mouth. The secret was enough to surprise everyone, both at what the secret was, but also how easily she got him to say his deepest darkest secret. Somehow, the secret didn't surprise 9. "Well, I've never heard that one before" she admitted, but then jerked her head to the Muffin Man, "Your turn" he looked quite scared as she pressed another of her blades on to his chest as well, "I can't stand Blue's jokes... they make me sad and uncomfortable" he looked at Blue apologetically as he said them out loud. "Hmmm.. Not so interesting, well, your next apron guy" She walked towards a6d, who started cursing in French again, she did the same motion and gesture, in which he said, half heartedly, "I ship Blue and Muffin Man" In response, Blue stopped crying immediately, looking in shock as he heard a6d's words. However, the Muffin Man was confused, "What does ship mean? Hullo~? Can someone answer me?" No one answered him. The guard also looked quite confused and seemed like she was processing that sentence again, she just made a waving gesture as if brushing the sentence off, ignoring it, "Well, um, so I have no idea what that means, NEXT!" she walked toward Blade, who was the unlucky next one in line. "What's your secret? Hmm?" she asked Blade, staring in his eyes for an answer, but used the blade, as Blade didn't respond earlier, "I potato farm" she looked unamused, but Siren otherwise, "POTATO FARM? HAHA" "Shut UP!" 9 said, sliced the air in front of her, toward the direction of Siren, who got a glowing bit of air that covered her mouth, not allowing her to speak. Siren decided to be quiet "Since you annoyed me, you're next" she did the same procedure, suddenly she was allowed to speak, but only to tell her secret, "I" she struggled a bit, as if she was fighting something, though she didn't show any signs of struggling, "I like some" she struggled again, "someone in this group" 9 didn't look so happy. "Hmmm a mage? That'll be a slight problem." she thought for a second, "Oh well, that alone will be enough to destroy you guys." She moved on to SapNap, who immediately said his secret without the use of the blades "Maple syrup, I love maple syrup" he blurted, Blue coughed, slightly sniggering, though it wasn't the sniggering that most would usually hear from him as he was still in a bad mood. She went to the Beaver, she pressed both blades, knowing that he had magic and would use every bit of it to repel the dark magic that covered the blades. He resisted, and didn't say a word, he looked up, in which his mouth was gone. He used his magic to make his mouth temporarily disappear. she looked around, then her eyes went wide and big, horrified and surprised, as she saw that everyone else's mouth disappeared as well. She composed herself by taking a deep breath. "If you think that's going to stop me, then you're wrong in a very special way" she said cooly, and then she walked, towards the Traveller. "I'm glad I saved you for last anyways," she smiled sweetly, so much that it was quite scary and frightening, "Your secret, doesn't need any words to expose" and she smiled again, Traveller's eyes were wide with fright, and he kept shaking his head as he knew what was going to happen. "You can't stop it sweetie," and she pulled down his hood, his long, fluffy, dirty blonde hair was in full view, the rest of the group stared at him as he lowered his head down to the ground, his cold, normally steely eyes were full of shame. "Already? My my, this is a lot more fun than I thought!" she tilted his head up, forcing his gray eyes to look at her straight in the face. "Let's see what the rest of you looks like, huh?" and before he could turn away, she jerked the gray scarf away, revealing his face, but his eyes were back to steel now, full of anger, the shame seemingly evaporated and was never there in the first place. "You're going to regret that" he said coldly, somehow breaking the spell that Beaver put on all of them, and suddenly, between his teeth was one of his daggers, miraculously there somehow as he turned his head sideways and swiftly cut the rope before 9 could react. He was free by the time that she could comprehend what was happening, which shocked her, nevertheless, h-how could he be faster than what my eyes could see? They were trained..... Specifically to see speed.... She thought, but quickly shoved that aside as she quickly gripped her curved blades tighter, eyes darting around to analyze where the Traveller was and every possible move he could make. He however, did one that she did not expect him to take, he ran off into the woods, quickly out of sight. "THIS" she said, pointing at the direction that the Traveller took, "IS YOUR LEADER. A WEAK, SELFISH PER-" and ironically, at that point, she was silenced, as a familiar dagger came shooting out of nowhere, silent, but deadly. She gasped a bit as she tried to get some air, but was in disbelief as she slowly turned her head around to look at the group in pure shock. The last thing she saw was the bright blue sky , where she would finally go, after long years of fighting, she could finally sleep. The rest of the group was staring in horror as they finally comprehended that the guard was dead, and that Traveller killed her, as shown by the dagger that was used. Then they processed that they were untied from the tree a bit more than 10 minutes ago, with the Traveller standing right in front of them, eyes hollow as the anger drained from them, being tired as he nearly stumbled to the ground, which caught the group's attention now. SapNap was naturally there first, putting the Traveller's arm around his shoulder, allowing him to lean on him like a pole. His eyes suddenly filled up again, now with a type of kindness and "You're welcome" then they seemingly snapped back to reality. He slowly moved his arms trying to pull the gray scarf backup to cover his face, though struggling, as his fingers seemed to not respond, so he was fumbling, which was quite rare and not commonly associated with the Traveller. "It's ok, they've already seen it, theres no point" SapNap reassured him, gently pushing his arm back down to his side. "N-no," he responded, trying to lift his arm, though was too weak. SapNap gave him a glare, "fine" he finally gave up. Beaver came forward, suddenly appearing, and the others finally noticed that he was gone in the first place. "Where were you?" a6d asked the Beaver, he simply pointed at the place where 9 was, in which she was suddenly gone, with a ring of white roses and a single pink lily. There was a stone headstone that a beautiful lily carved into the bottom right corner, identical to the one that was right in front of it. Engraved, was the guard's name, "Lilia Freelance" and that was all. The group put their gaze towards Beaver again and he walked towards the Traveller, and touched his forehead, and closed his eyes a second later, he removed it and started walking back to the sound of the creek, where their camp was, it seemed as if nothing happened in an outsider's view, but there was a major difference to the Traveller, he immediately felt a surge of energy, a warm comfy feeling slowly spreading throughout his body, it wasn't enough to allow him to walk without the support of SapNap but he could move his limbs a bit more easily now. He tried to cover up his face and hair again, but to the courtesy of SapNap, he took the cape and scarf away from the Traveller and put it in the safe keeping of one of his many pockets. He however, still managed to cover up most of his face by hiding in the collar of his shirt as much as possible, though that didn't help too much. SapNap got tired eventually and Siren volunteered instead. The Traveller refused, reassuring them blindly that he could walk without help and tried to walk a few steps forward by himself, in which he immediately crumbled and begrudgingly accepted Siren's help. "So....." she started, looking at Traveller, who was hiding behind the collar of his shirt, looking the other way, which hid his face and was a lot more useful than hiding behind the collar. "Look at me" he slowly turned his head slightly sideways, using his peripheral vision to look at Siren. She sighed, but knew that was the most she could probably have gotten out of him. "I guess it doesn't really matter that much if you didn't want to show your face anymore, doesn't it?" She said, a small smile appearing. "Yeah, I guess so" he said quietly, but it was barely audible as Blue, who was just up ahead, was laughing at a6d, completely oblivious to what happened just then with the trees, was making fun of him and was returning to the energetic aura that he usually gave out. A6d sadly, was starting to get back to normal as after a few minutes of clenching his teeth and shaking, which were to stop himself from attacking Blue, he snapped and punched him on the shoulder.
"Can you get us out of here? No. SHUT UP THEN" a6d yelled exasperatedly at Blue, "OWWWWWWW" but then just gave a big grin and started to annoy the Muffin Man instead who was concentrating on his muffin, though he stopped after a minute of so, his mind finally remembering what the Muffin Man had said before. And took his reign of terror to Blade.
