Cryptids & Cursed Images (C&CI)

Explanation

Hi! Thanks for choosing this story to read, it's something I've put time into, although when I say that, I'm more talking about the game version- Yes, there is a game of this on Discord, if you'd like to check out the Instagram page, @cryptidsandcursedimages and also, this is literally to give some backstory on the story itself (I know I'm supposed to explain this as I write but I just want to get the timeframe for when the story takes place as it probably won't be brought up in the actual story and I also have no real thought of how to throw it in without having it's own little spot, and this is easier for me until I learn to simply be better about stuff like this.) The time that Cryptids & Cursed Images takes place is a good while after 2020, although, since I can't see into the future, I'm not sure what would be around for the timeframe, which I have come down and stated is around 2036 give or take. Now the story doesn't END in 2036, if anything, it starts there and then by the end of the story, would probably be 2040 or so, the final date hasn't really been decided upon so it's still up in the air on when it will end. That's really all I wanted to get across as I really don't know when or how I could have worked this into the actual story since I assume that once you get like a week into a world ending apocalypse, remembering the year and day of the week is the least of your concerns, plus some other facts that make it harder for characters to know this stuff when you begin to read, anyways, sorry for a page that to most good writers would seem un-needed, but I just wanted to clear that up as I wasn't sure how to in the actual story.
