The most excruciatingly painful thing he has ever felt. He thought he would only feel it for a brief moment, but it lasted. He feels his heart slow and his breath hitch as he falls to the ground. He knows his heart has stopped pounding in his chest, but he can feel it. He knows he isn't breathing, but he still knows.
It's the weirdest feeling in the world.
He thinks the bullet didn't work. He try's to get up, but can't. He feels almost weightless, yet clinging to the ground for dear life, (even though that's long gone). He relaxes as much as he can still feeling the pain of where the bullet went in, yet nothing else. He tries to focus on sounds, but it seems he can't hear. He tries to speak, he can't do that either.
He's heard of life after death, but he expected heaven or hell. Well, this is hell, as he knows.
He eventually picks himself up but he feels like he's not really there. And he knows it. He's aware of himself. He isn't breathing but he can obviously feel himself, alive?
Well, he doesn't have a heart beat, and he isn't breathing and-
He sees his body and screams. Although, he can't speak, so he hears nothing. And he can't breathe, so he feels nothing. He examines the body and that's the proof he's actually dead.
He decides he might as well move around. See what's going on. He walks over to the edge of the building and steps off. Maybe he'll figure out what's happening.
He realizes he's falling. Not controlled; just falling, like he would normally fall. But he's not in his body. He has no idea what's happening. He's already dead isn't he? You can't kill yourself one way and then consecutively another way, right? He feels himself slow and relaxes, knowing he'll have time to figure out what's going on. He falls slowly and eventually sees a crowd of people gathered in front of the building.
He looks at them, they must have heard the gunshot, he thinks. He moves out of the way but to his surprise their eyes follow.

Random Stories I thought of
RandomPretty much what the title says. I explain in the first chapter. My post schedule is now whenever I remember the day and when I actually have a story idea. Haha I'm sorry but you can't rush mediocrity.
