Chapter 5

"When will baby minhee have a daddy?"

"you'll meet your daddy soon, baby"

Jaemin sighed as he remembers minhee's words again. it's been a week since the baby asked that question and jaemin felt so guilty for lying to his child. he doesn't want to tell a lie to the baby but he doesn't want minhee to be sad either by telling him that jeno doesn't even know that he exists. like, how would minhee meet jeno? he can't just go to jeno and tell him they have a child as if it's that easy.

"hey jeno, you kinda released inside me and now we have a child but I didn't tell you because your jerk ass broke up with me and left me" yep, no way. Jaemin had no idea what to do. he's completely clueless. it's been a week and jeno hasn't gone to the cafe since that day jaemin told him he doesn't wanna see him.

Jaemin sighed for the nth time that day. I pushed him away because i hate him, but why am i regretting it now? he thought.

"Papa, look!"

Jaemin snapped out of his thoughts when minhee yelled and came running towards him, holding what looks like a flower. they're currently at the park on an afternoon, it's jaemin's day off so he got the opportunity to go out with minhee.

"baby minhee got papa a flower" Minhee giggled, sounding so proud as he handed it to jaemin who held it with a smile. he leaned down to give minhee a kiss on the cheek.

"thank you, baby. this is cute"

Minhee grinned and also leaned in to kiss jaemin on the cheek before running back to the playground where the other kids are to continue playing. Jaemin smiled, sitting back on the bench as he looked at the flower with soft gazes. he let out a soft chuckle when he saw that the flower looks like it was hastily pulled, one petal was even missing but jaemin can't help but find it cute because everything that minhee does is cute.

Jaemin held the flower in his left hand and grabbed his phone from his jeans pocket with his right hand, after checking for minhee who's he'd seen playing with another kid near the slides, he looked at the caller and answered when he found out it was johnny, his friend who's currently in America, who was calling. Jaemin smiled, answering the call while looking at the flower and playing with it.

"oh johnny hyung! omg I miss you, how are you and jaehyun hyung doing there?" Jaemin answered excitedly as he heard a chuckle on the other line.

"miss you too jaemin, we're doing fine, absolutely, we've gone to the beach yesterday and jaehyun is still sleeping right now" johnny answered as jaemin heard some shuffling on the other side. "Hey jaehyun! wake up bro it's afternoon already" and then he heard a whine, probably from jaehyun.

Jaemin giggle. "hey jaehyun hyung" he called a little louder and it only made him chuckle when he heard a rather louder shuffling, probably jaehyun jumping out of bed.

"omg jaemin! I miss you! we'll be back in seoul by next week!" Jaehyun said excitedly and jaemin could hear johnny saying, "if I knew that jaemin will wake you up I should've called him sooner"

"really? that's nice! I'll tell jisung and chenle so we can pick you guys up from the airport" he beamed.

"alright! I badly wanna see minhee, I bet that little one is missing his uncle's handsomeness" jaemin heard johnny snorting from the other line after jaehyun said that. Jaemin chuckled.

"yeah, yeah. he'll be happy to meet you two again..." jaemin trailed off, looking up and around the park to look for minhee but there was no sign of his child.
