The two of us walked into a carriage and sat down. Opposite us on the holding rack was a big bag. We both seemed to notice it and looked at each other. The we had our little telepathic talk.
'Why is there a bag in here'
'Someone probably left it here'
'Maybe'
'Wait nobody accidentally left it because there's a knife sticking out of the bag'
Enola quickly looked back at the bag and sure enough there was a knife sticking out of it. Cutting it. A few seconds later a hand popped out unstrapping it and it fell of the rack and onto the floor. "Ow" a voice came from inside. We looked at each other. God whoever this person is they already seemed annoying. Suddenly a boy in elegant clothes stood up from the bag. He was pretty cu- wait no he wasn't remember you don't want a husband Ada. "Hello" he said to the both of us. Enola looked at him in bewilderment. And to be honest if I wasn't so interested in why he was hiding in a bag so would I be.
"Please get out of this carriage" She said to him
"I can't" he said. "I'm in hiding" Well that took an interesting turn of events. He obviously ran away from home but at the look of his clothes I couldn't see why. The boy got up and sat down opposite the two of us. "Bit of a to-do. Bribed a porter to put me in this and get me onboard. Very daring" He said. It seemed like he was boasting (bragging) about his 'brilliant' escape plan. But it really sucked.
"Get out of this carriage right now" I said to him. His glance left Enola and onto me. It was obvious he knew whe weren't actually boys and were also hiding from something.
"You two are some strange looking gentle man" He said. Well of course we are. Because we're girls. Idiot.
"And you think you look normal" I said to him. He finally got what me and Enola both knew. We weren't boys. We were girls. "You're not boy's at all" He said to us. I rolled my eyes at him and Enola gave him a no kidding look. I mean we didn't have the best disguises it was kind of obvious that we weren't boys.
"We might be boys" said enola. She should've stopped this plan right now. He already knew we where girls there was no point in trying to throw him off the tracks now.
"Who are you?" He asked the two of us.
"What are you?" I asked him
"I'm Viscount Tewksbury, the Marquess of Basilwether." Oh so he was rich rich. I could tell that from the fact that he had a title. He put his hand out for Enola to shake it. "Your a nincompoop" Enola said to him which made me snicker and him put his hand down. He turned to me with you think this is funny look on his face to which I nodded. It was funny. At least funny to me.
"I'll have you know, I have just undertaken a particularly daring escape-" He was trying to explain before I cut him off.
"Yes because rolling out of a bag, making a racket and hurting yourself whilst doing it is a daring escape. Do you even know what daring means?"
"Plus you have not escaped. There is a man in a brown bowler hat currently on this train searching for you, and once he finds you, he will think we helped hide you and we will be endangered by this. Therefore i ask you to get out of this carriage " Enola said Firmly. The boy looked at us in shock for the way we just went of at him before talking about something completely off topic. "You remind me of my uncle" he told Enola. I told you it was off topic. That had nothing to do with what we were just talking about. "I've left him at the station. He's bossy too. Left them all: my mother, my grandmother. But I'm fine. I'm free" he said to us. Still off topic.
"Just one question. Did we ask?" I said to him which made him look at me again. I know I was usually a timid quiet girl but this boy was annoying the hell out of me. And I wanted him out of the carriage. Enola told him one last time to get out of the carriage and so he took his bags and walked over to the door of the carriage before he spoke again. "A man in a brown bowler hat" he said before breaving heavily and looking out of the carriage doors. "It'll be fine" he said to himself twice before walking out.
"Finally he's gone" I said. Enola laughed. "You really hated him didn't you" I looked over at her. Didn't she hate him to. I mean he was obnoxious, spoilt, he boasted and just allround annoying. "Um yes I hated him. He was really annoying me" I said to her. We sat in silence for a few seconds before the boy came rushing back in. He was breathing heavily and quickly which meant he was worried and scared. So know we were dealing with a scaredy cat. "He's coming" he said to us.
"Of course" I said before getting up and walking over to the door.
"He's checking every carriage." Wow this boy just made my life a 100% more worse then it already was. "Wonderful" Enola said whilst picking up her jacket and walking over to me. "You have to help me. He didn't see me" he told us. Of course he didn't think he saw him but the man probably had. "Of course he did" I said to him "therefore we say good day to you Viscount Tewksbury, Marquess of Basilwether." I continued. Enola opened the door and he spoke again. "You really do remind me of my uncle. You have the same stare" He told Enola. Cause that was the right thing to say right now. And with that Enola rolled her eyes shut the carriage door and we walked away. When we were walking through the corridor we saw the man again. He pushed past us before going into a carriage. The same one the boy was in. Only a few seconds later we heard screams. This boy couldn't stand up for himself like Enola. And he couldn't think of logical ways to get out of things like me. We had to help him. No matter how much we disliked him. And with that we turned around and went back into the carriage. The boy was hanging of the door. On the wrong side. And a tunnel was coming up. If we didn't help him quickly he would surely be killed. Without question or process I picked up the man's cane and smacked it against his head making him fall on the floor. Enola ran over to the boy who was now even closer to being squashed took his hand and pulled him in just in time. The three of us ran out of the carriage. I don't know where. It was a train. It's not like you could get off it right now. Unless you want to be you know nearly killed.
"Who is that? He was trying to kill me. I'm not ready to die on a train" he told the two of us as we where racing through the corridors. "I'm not ready to die at all and I wasn't going to before I met you" Enola said to him. It made me smirk. We both hated this boy and I loved the insults that were being thrown at him.
"Where are we going" he asked.
I looked around at the surroundings and the situation we were in. I was quick thinker and could figure out what we should do as fast as somebody could snap there fingers. But it was proving to be a more difficult task then I thought at that moment. "I don't know yet. Let me think" I yelled at him. We finally got to the end of the train. Where the coal was being held. Being the irrational girl she was Enola stepped onto it which surprised both Tewksbury and I however I did the same as her only a few seconds after. He shut the door behind him and followed me onto the small platform we were standing on. I tried to get more platform by pushing the crate back a tiny bit but that just resulted in me nearly falling off. If Enola hadn't grabbed onto my hand at the last second I would've fallen. "That's incredibly dangerous" Tewksbury said to me. "Do I look like I care" I scolded him. I saw Enola looking of into the distance she was probably thinking of another plan that would probably get us killed but hey whats life without a risk. "Do you trust me" Enola asked him.
"No" he yelled back.
I looked at the bridge and realised what she was doing. "If we time it correctly we can leave him stranded." I said to him. He was still confused. "Time what correctly?" God he was dumb. But I didn't want him to die. Of course we where going to have to do something that might make him die anyways but still. "Listen Tewksbury. We have two choices" Enola yelled at him. She was getting incredibly annoyed at the incompetent boy in front of them. "And which one involves me not dying" he asked. Enola looked at me and nodded. Suddenly the man opened the door. I grabbed onto his arm. "This one" I yelled and all three of us jumped of the train just as he was about to grab him.So i still can't find the script so I had to watch the movie to actually get the correct lines. It was fun watching it again but i've watched it so many times and it only came out a few days ago. Anyways I hope you like what i'm doing with Ada and I don't really like how I did her relationship with Tewksbury but she's like this to him now so she can be different later. I have school again tomorrow so I will try to update by Tuesday. Bye
