The three of us landed on the hill only a feet or so away from falling into the water below us all. I quickly got up. Now the boy knew that we weren't boys I took hat of and let my hair loose out of the bun. I helped Enola up before turning to the boy.
"What?" He said. "Do I have something on me" I shook my head and smiled. I liked to make him paranoid.

"You do make an awful lot of noise don't you" Enola said to him

"Well it turns out being thrown of a train hurts considerably more then you might think" He shot back even though it was a lame excuse. I rolled my eyes at him "and i've lost a button" Enola shook her head before glancing off at the train. My eyes where still fixed on Tewksbury

"Boohoo. Mr posh lost his button" I joked before walking off.

"You do know you've entirely ruined phase three of out plan" Enola said to him. It had been ten minutes since we had jumped of the train and the three of us now had to walk through the country.

"Phase what? Who the hell are you?" Tewksbury asked her. He looked very confused. But I mean I get why he was. I looked over at Enola and gave her a 'We might as well tell him' look. "Look, I believe out recent brush with death deserves me at least your names" He continued

"Ada Camden" I said.

"And Enola Holmes" Enola continued for me.

"Holmes like Sherlock" I groaned at the sound of his name. I may of only seen him for one second before but it he had left Enola when she was just a baby. He could've stayed there for longer.

"And we are undercover, so forget I told you that piece of information" Enola said ignoring what Tewksbury was saying.

"Undercover working for him?" Tewksbury asked us.

"Undercover From him" I said with enunciation on the from. If sherlock was here it would screw up our investigation. Just like Tewksbury had.

"Hence why you're dressed as boys-"Tewksbury was saying before Enola cut him off.

"Hence why you are to say nothing" She said firmly to him. I got to admit Enola may of been my best friend but sometimes she did scare me a little bit. "So?" She said.

"What?" Tewksbury responded. I hit my head with my hand. My god this boy was stupid as hell.

"Thank you?" I said joining the two's conversation. "You're supposed to say thank you"

"For what?" Tewksbury said as he turned around to me. I looked around and sighed before walking off Enola close behind with Tewksbury running to catch up with us. Hours had passed and all the three of us had done was walk and walk and walk through the wades of grass. By now the sun was already setting.

"We should think about sleeping soon" Enola said to which I nodded in agreement.

"We should think about eating soon" Tewksbury then said.

"We have nothing to eat" I responded

"Of course we do" Tewksbury said whilst smiling and pointing at a plant. "Articum Lappa which you'll know as burdock" He said. Maybe this boy wasn't as stupid as I thought he was. I mean he knew his plants pretty well. "Very tasty um, and there's trifolium. Clover." He continued before walking over to the opposite side of the path and bending down. "And is that. Yes I knew it. Mushrooms!" He said with glee something I'd never thought I'd hear someone say as I disliked mushrooms very much. "Agarnicus Lanipes. The princess. Delicious " he said whilst picking a mushroom out and handing it to Enola. "If you can get a fire started. I can make us a feast" He finished.

"Fine" Enola said whilst throwing the mushroom back into his hands. I started to walk into the forest to collect fire wood with the two trailing after me. Enola helping me collect fire wood and Tewksbury collecting food. Whilst Enola went into a different direction Tewksbury walked up to me.

"I'm not entirely and idiot, you know" He said to me. Damn I made that really obvious didn't I.

"I know. It's just when people annoy me I tend to think of them in that way. And when we first met you were really annoying me" I responded to which he laughed. In all honesty I had no clue how to socialise with him. My only friend was Enola and I was taught from my mother to never let a boy near unless I trusted him. And I never trusted any boys. Not even my father and brothers. Thankfully Enola came walking back through just in time saving me from an awkward conversation with him. Me and Enola started the fire so Tewksbury could cook the food which was disgusting but I still ate it so I didn't starve to death in the night.

"I've been thinking" ,Enola said, "You need to disguise yourself a little" I nodded in agreement even though he did look a bit more scruffy looking then he did on the train he still looked like some rich boy. "How do you feel about your hair?"

"I've never cared for it" He responded which was unusual because if I had his hair I would never let Enola cut it. She picked up a knife and a rock. "Cut it off with a knife. Of course you will" Tewksbury said. She began to sharpen the knife on the rock. Tewksbury looked over at her intrigued that she knew how to do it. "Who taught you how to sharped it like that?" He asked

"My mother" She said quietly. I knew she didn't want to talk about her mother unless it was to do with finding her. And saying it to someone she hardly knew like Tewksbury must of taken a lot of guts. Something I knew she had.

"Your mother is very different to mine"  Tewksbury told her. All this mother talk started to make me feel sad and cold inside. Since I could barley remember any memory's I had ever had with my own.

"Who taught you about flowers and herbs?" I asked him.

"My father" He responded.

"I never really knew my father" Enola said

"My father's dead to" He said. And with that I got up and walked off to where I was going to sleep. I knew that the other two had suffered as much as I had. But they could talk about. They could handle thinking about but if I even wanted to think about my mother I would start to tremble, feel cold and break down. As the night drifted on I recited the poems and stories my father used to tell me when I was little to help me get to sleep. But this time it didn't seen to work. In fact it never seemed to work anymore. I always got barley any sleep but in the morning felt like I was the most energetic person in the world. It was strange. I tried to make my thoughts go away but nothing worked. I ended up getting no sleep whatsoever that night because when I actually started to feel like I might go to sleep a swarm of birds flew past making me feel even more awake then I did before.
