Chapter 8

I've been talking with my brother, and I learned my pack went haywire looking for me. They all thought it was Colton's fault, which I agree on 1000% on.

"Artie?" Alex as hesitantly.

"It's Artemisia to you." I spat narrowing my eyes at him.

He winced at my tone, I wouldn't blame him. If I did what he did to me and try to fix it after many years, I would expect harsh, mad tones.

"Well I'm going to the pack doctor." After a very long moment of silence.

"I'll walk you there." He says quickly getting up.

"No, you stay here." I order and walk out without him trying to say something back.

Walking down to the main floor, I barely acknowledge anyone as I pass though. Before I made it to the hospital wing, I was stopped by an arm I ran into. I glare at the man.

"Artie, what's up with you?" My beta says.

"Your acting strange." Jonah adds on.

"Where's Oreo?" I ask ignoring their angered looks.

"In the pack hospital, so people looked after him while you were away." Logan said with clenched teeth (A/N not sure if the beta had a different name, but now it's Logan.)

"Good, now excuse meh." I said ducking under the arm and into the hospital wing.

My blood has been drawn and now being scanned, I'm playing with Oreo mindlessly. I'm chasing him down the hall of the hospital.

"Come back here!!" I giggle and reach down and picked up him into my arms.

He gives me a defeated bark, but licks my face either way.

"Ewie, dog cooties." I say laughing and hugging him tightly.

"Alpha." A voice said behind me.

I stiffened slightly and look at the pack doctor. He motions me to follow, and I do with my puppy who went instantly quiet.

Entering the room, I sit on the bed and Oreo lays against my right side. I wait for his analysis on if my blood is changed of not.

"Your part vampire now." He says with all seriousness.

I knew something had to do with sickening vampires! Why would Colton do this to me? Pay back for flirting with other males, or the fact I left 5 months ago from his pack?

"How much?" I ask with slight fearful intent.

"Somehow, more than wolf, 80% round numbers." He says reading a chart with I'm guessing my results.

"How???" I ask exasperated, holding my head in my hands.

"It probably has to do with going missing for that whole month. Vampires must've taken you." He replies.

"I'm pretty sure Colton was the one who did it." I say slightly defensively, I'm not sure if he'll think I'm crazy or not.

"Or, your under a potion or drug of some sort. Your results did has something else in your blood stream, something werewolves don't know about. We are on the case though, don't worry." He says the last part quickly, like I would kill him if he didn't. I would probably kill him though, smart man.

Oreo seems to have made some kind of noise, I'm not sure if it is animalistic, or I'm just going crazy from a drug. I have no clue what to think anymore, I'm still wary of Colton, I'm drugged, and I'm vampire. My life was so perfect before I had Colton rammed back into my life!

I muttered a thanks to the doc and left, Oreo trailing behind me. His paws click-clack on the hard floor, I find it soothing. I hate it when there are no noises around.

We reach my room, I'm holding Oreo like a baby since he can't climb stairs yet. I open my room in a good mood.

The second I see what's in my room.

I get furious.
