It's a few days after New Year and your family came over to have dinner. At home you discover that you miss an ingredient for the desert. It's pretty dark and cold outside and no one really wants to go to the store. To escape the noise and heat inside, you offer to go  and get the ingredient. In the store you notice a boy staring at you. He has beautiful green eyes and you stare back for a while until your phone rings. It's your mum:

"Is everything alright? What's taking you so long?"

"Sorry, I'm on my way."

You take the ingredient and rush back home. Outside you bump into someone and drop your stuff.

"I'm so sorry", you say as you kneel to pick up your stuff.

"It's okay, I should've watched out better." You look up. It's the boy who was staring at you in the store. "I'm Robbie by the way." He offers his hand.

"Y/n" you say, shaking his hand.

"So y/n, what's a girl like you doing outside right now. It's pretty cold and dark you know."

"Yeah, I noticed that," you say smiling, "I just forgot something for dinner tonight." You start walking again, but Robbie stops you.

"I can't let you walk home all alone. There may be some creepy guys out there, who want to do creepy things with you." He starts walking beside you.

"How do I know you're not one of those creepy guys?" Robbie looks at you and smiles.

"You don't. I guess you'll have to trust me."

"Okay then."

Robbie walks you all the way home, being a perfect gentleman.

"Here it is." You say pointing at your house. You walk to the small alley that leads to your backyard, so nobody has to bother opening the front door for you. "I think I can survive the alley, Robbie."

"Okay then. It was nice to meet you, y/n." Robbie smiles at you.

"Yeah, it was. Thanks for walking me home." You turn around and start to walk away as you feel him put something in your hand.

"Remember me y/n." He says, giving you a kiss on your cheek.

"I will." You smile and touch your cheek as Robbie walks away.

In your backyard you open the little note Robbie gave you. It contains a phone number and the words: "Call me, if I ever have to take you home again."
