Chloe's POV josh and I laughed and talked while we walked. We started to skate after a while. "Race yah," I said and took off. "Oh, you're on Callie." Josh called. I could hear him catching up. I speed upqnd see the icecream shop in the distance. I start to slow down, and Josh whizzes past me. He quickly stops once he reaches the icecream shop. "I win." Josh bragged when I arrived. "I let you win. I didn't want you to lose to a girl." I teased. He playfully rolls his eyes. "What, Mr. Skaterboy can't take a joke?" I smiled and walked inside while Josh held the door open. I waited in line with Josh by my side. Josh ordered Chocolate ice cream with fudge syrup and chocolate chips. "I'm gonna guess that you like chocolate?" I say and smile. "Just a little bit," he chuckled. I ordered vanilla ice cream with Carmel syrup and marshmallows. I got out my money to hand to the cashier. Josh handed the lady money and looked at me. "I'm paying." He smiled. He smiled. I reluctantly agreed and we sat down at a booth by the window. "Who taught you how to skate?" I thought back. "One of my... Old friends, spent hours teaching me." I said and smiled. He smiled too. We laughed and talked. I looked at the time. It read 10:43. " I better head home." I said and stood up. "Let me walk you home," Josh said. "How do I know you aren't an ax murderer or something?" (Sorry about tfios quote I had to) I smiled. "Alright fine," He said and put his hands up as if to surrender. Josh writes something on a piece of paper, and hands it to me as I am about Tk walk out, I smile and leave.
