Jia and Taehee ran upstairs with a book in Jia's grip. The two went inside their shared bedroom and opened the book, "Nobody wants to read it with us." the youngest muttered as she went through the pages, "It's okay we can read them ourselves." Taehee gave her sister reassurance.

They stopped at a page and grinned widely.

"Chapter three, a mate is for life."

The seven vampire brothers had adjusted a bit in the new era, their parents teaching them the daily basics in order to go on in the current era. Despite them being busy they didn't forget about their mate who so happens to live near them.

"Can't we go over now?" Taehyung whined as he rolled around on the carpet floor while their parents watched him. "Sweetie you need to adjust yourselves first. I'm not letting you boys go to your mate as soon as you wake up. You need to settle down with the modern era first." their father said towards the brothers who just grumbled.

"It's been five centuries. And another six centuries. We've been mateless for eleven centuries now!" Hoseok groaned out in despair. The parents just winced at their sons'long period of not finding their mate. "We're sorry boys but it's for the best. Your mate will be shocked if you all come at her at the same time besides, there are some things that you need to do first." their added continued to which earned attention from all of them.

The hyung line are all taught with the basics such as tax, driving and of course how to run the family business. The maknae lines had to attend school... again but the idea was forgotten as soon they mentioned that they will be going to the same school as their mate.

So here they are standing in front of their shocked mate. "Hey Rachel! And her friend." Taehyung grinned at the two girls but his attention was solely on the taller shorter one instead. "Why are you here?" Rachel shrieked in panic earning weird glances from the other students.

"We go here now so... you'll be seeing us a lot." Jimin smirked.

Rachel's face turned bright red after the smirk and the three vampires basked in their mate's frustration. "Whatever. Just don't talk to me." with that their lovely mate dashed away and dragged her friend with them. Jungkook sighed out dreamingly, "She looks so cute being frustrated like that. I want to make her feel like that all the time." the youngest exclaimed earning weird looks from his two brothers.

"Ew don't say your fetish out loud like that idiot." Jimin made a disgusted expression and went towards their mate's direction with Taehyung following behind.

"What? I didn't say anything weird!"

"Whatever Jungkook."

The three of them met with the principal before a teacher leads them to their supposedly class.

After Jungkook threatened to drain the principal's blood when he found out they won't be in the same class as Rachel. "B-but you three don't actually h-have academic records and w-we don't know how capable you are in this class. This class is o-only for-" the poor principal was cut off when Jungkook appeared in front of her grabbing her collar with his red eyes.
