Jora trudged through the snow, the cold winter weather was really bothering her. She was used to the hot weather of spring Islands and it had been years since she last set foot on a winter Island. After a while she came across an unconscious young boy. She kneeled down and checked his pulse. She was glad to find he was fine. She picked him up, his skin felt cold as ice. As she looked around she couldn't find anyone. So she decided to take him back to her ship.

Law opened his eyes. He hadn't expected to wake in a warm room. Jora was standing at the stove and cooking a vegetablesoup. Law stood up and tried to sneak out of the room, but a creaking floorboard foiled his plans. When Jora heard the loud noise she immediately turned around.

"Did you sleep well?" she asked in a kind voice. Law fell backwards. "Don't worry I don't want to hurt you. Do you want some soup?"
Law just noded quietly and didn't say a word. Jora handed a bowl to him and set down at the table.
"Can I ask you something?"
Law set down next to her and noded again.
"I'm Jora. What's your name?"
"Law.", was his whole answer. Jora let out a little sigh. When she noticed that the bowl in front of him was already empty, she stood up and poured out some more soup into the bowl. But suddenly she froze. Outside where two men, who looked like they were looking for her.
"Law, you should hide right now." she said as she tuned around. She put down the bowl and pushed Law into a cabinet. He opened the cabinetdoor just a bit so he could see what was going on.
The door was swung open. And the two men ran in.
"Found you~." one of them said and pushed her against the wall. Jora didn't fight back, even as the man started stroking her cheek.
"Now Jora pay up or else..." The man grabbed one of her brests. Now the other man spoke up: "You better obey us. No one will save you this time. Your captain is dead and won't ever come back!"
This made the young woman snap. She kicked the man holding her and grabbed the sword from behind the door. She smashed the handle in the other guys face, breaking his nose.
"You little bitch!" the first man cried out. Wich only made Jora hold blade to his throat.
"Don't talk about my captain ever again!" she growled. "Oh and by the way, I don't need anyone to save me I'm not called 'the Oceans Fang' for nothing."
The men ran out and left the boat.
"You can come out now." Jora put away her sword, as Law came crawling out of the cabinet.
"What was that?" Law asked.
"Those guys think I own them some money, Idiots. Anyways you should eat the rest of your soup."

Jora let Law stay on her ship. After only a week she started caring about him and he became like a son to her.
