September full corn Moon/Hen of the woods/Maitake hunting!

Gargamel and Dorian lost control from their potion again on the next full moon. Full moon or not Gargamel on Dorian were excited for this one because it was called The Corn Moon. This one may be, just maybe is a sign that the corn in the garden is about to be harvested all ready to harvest. Gargamel and Dorian didn't do much during the full corn Moon. A few days later Mars met the waning moon. Everyone watched as they got in conjunction and were extremely close. Then they harvested corn at 1 in the morning they were happy though to a harvested corn no matter what time of day or night it was. Then around 5 in the morning everyone saw Orion for their first time in 2020 since nobody paid attention to the constellations back in the winter. Then they found a really bright star. Dorian, knowing Gargamel knew a lot about the cosmos, asked Gargamel what star or planet that was. Gargamel confirmed it was a star but he had not seen this one before. However this star has existed before just Gargamel has never paid attention to it. Gargamel did his research and found out it was the star Sirius and was the brightest star in the earth's night sky and was very popular in Egypt as it's meant the flooding of the Nile River when it Rose above the horizon in the summer without the Sun and Before Sunrise. Gargamel turned into werewolf form that he was so excited. The sleepover people had dozed off Suddenly at the time and it woke them up all of them. It also woke the neighbor and he really got mad. Dorian couldn't keep it in that Gargamel is crazy excited for a simple star. Gargamel however had to turn back into human form so that the neighbor wouldn't find out what Gargamel is and Report Gargamel to animal control and then Gargamel winds up in the pound or somewhere or shot with a silver bullet. Gargamel then took a look at Mars. Meanwhile Dorian looked at the moon and Venus. The other sleepover people were looking at Perseus, Cassiopeia, and Orion, and also a good glimpse of Sirius the dog star ( of which I remember in one of my stories on my other account my old account that I used it as the star is in my Peter Pan fandom Paw Patrol version as the second star to the right. That probably was actually wrong because Sirius doesn't have a star or another star really close to it.). Soon the sun came up and the others were amazed to still see Mars in the day for a little bit. Gargamel became obsessed with Sirius however- so obsessed that it would stop his recording Twilight obsession, but unfortunately he would still wake everyone up at a really early hour. Eventually Patrick and Mother Nature put in a rule:If everyone is well behaved and the sky is clear, everyone can get up at 5 and have 2 hours of astronomy and stargazing (except for occasions like meteor showers, comets, planets aligning with the moon or another planet, etc). If the sky is not clear or there is mischief going on, then everyone has to sleep until 6. However Mother Nature said Gargamel has to follow these rules but still if it is 6 to get up for people misbehaving he can still go see Sirius, as Mother Nature knew if he didn't get to see it every chance he had he would probably start ranting all day and make her angry. Plus she said for Dorian he can go howl at the full moon in werewolf form if he does it softly and quietly. At least the benefit is they still later in the time got to see a few more stray meteors, the moon as it waned to a new moon, and every time they went out they would be first welcome to the sight of Orion as it was the most obvious constellation out there at the current time they were up. Yes, Orion was so obvious of a constellation that it's almost like he would be a real person there to greet them. However he was just this Greecian mythological person in the sky as a constellation. One other thing that welcomed them later on was the welcoming sight of the warm star Sirius, the brightest star in the earth's night sky. And still they also saw Cassiopeia, Perseus, and also eventually once the moon got out of the way they also saw the May Zodiac Sign of Taurus, as well as Gemini. Also once the moon got out of the picture they noticed some other random stars that were part of other constellations that they couldn't entirely see thanks to light pollution. Also meanwhile in Taurus they were also in for a treat - the Pleiades cluster. The Pleiades cluster was named after the Seven Sisters in Greek mythology known as the Pleiades sisters. Also they saw Orion's sword which is also a star cluster, but also if they could just find a way to fix the telescope they would also see this - the Orion Nebula! Once Gargamel used a spell to fix the telescope, everyone got to see the Orion Nebula in the telescope and Gargamel took his phone and put it to the lens of the telescope and got a picture of it! Soon every morning once Dawn came everybody were unbelievably shocked how fast time went of course Father Time joined the sleepover through Gargamel's wife, Mother Nature, and he was so surprised that his own stuff had gone by so fast as well. Before they knew it the October full moon was already on the way as the moon got out of its new phase and began to become a sliver of a waxing crescent and eventually a first-quarter Moon. Then it became a Waxing gibbous moon. Dorian and Gargamel were preparing for it. When the weekend came to sleep over people went to harvest maitake mushrooms. On one tree they found one, then on another tree they found one, then another, and then another, and soon by the time they got home they found probably about five or six or seven specimens. Dorian got his first glimpses of these mushrooms and he was a little scared at first. However since he joined the sleepover as the morels and chanterelles were out he knew that the sleepover people were experts on these. He especially knew that because of Mother Nature they probably were actual real major experts on them and probably were mycologists, and would never need to go to college for it, because of Mother Nature herself to teach them, as she was a wise person. Father time was just as wise as well. When they got home they cooked some of these mushrooms and Dorian was the first one to get some because he had never tried this kind of mushroom before. Dorian said " wow this is probably the second best out of the three types of mushrooms I tried so far that I really like. Really woodsy flavor and also a Nutty flavor mixed in. Extremely delicious like a meal fit for a king of the forest. And being a werewolf I am the king of the forest here!" However Patrick said " wait until we're not that busy in school and have enough time to make risotto with these. You are around nine years old I'd say so it would be probably about time to start teaching you how to cook around here! The first thing I will show you is a little bit hard to do and typically they say only the best of chefs can do but I can do it so I guess I'm the best out of all the chefs in the area! I make very good risotto and with these once you taste the combination of the delicious rice which will absorb the delicious chicken stock and also the mushrooms it's a perfect marriage and you'll be wanting seconds and even thirds and possibly if you had the room in your stomach fourths and fifths!" Dorian said " wow you cook that good? Probably even if we switched ages I wouldn't be able to cook as good as you would! Well then again I don't know how to cook because I'm younger than you obviously. Besides Mother Nature thinks she should cook the most around here anyway." Mother Nature was in the living room at the time and she overheard this conversation and said " well when it comes to these delicious dishes which are actually very hard for me to make I have Patrick do it! And trust me it's well worth letting him do it because trust me he's right once you have it you'll be wishing you have seconds and thirds and if you have the room even fourths and fifths! Personally I find it so good that I'd even be asking if I would have the room in my stomach for sixths and sevenths! If Patrick would open a restaurant with only this on the menu operationally he probably be very rich in just hours or even days I wouldn't be surprised! A naturally my natural wild Creations my mushrooms naturally make it even better tasting! It all depends on what mushrooms are in season. My particular favorite time when we make risotto would be around April and May when we have the morels! You tried the morel risotto didn't you? If you didn't it's deliciousness * like 1 billion, if not Infinity, and I will make sure you get a plate of it next year in 2021!" A few days later around Tuesday after school Patrick and Dorian made risotto. They didn't start making it until around 4 because Dorian's bus took longer to get there. Patrick and Dorian took turns stirring when it was time to add the stock. Soon the dishes completing in fact it was better than Patrick ever had made it thanks to Dorian's help additionally. All the sleepover people gave thanks to Dorian for helping Patrick make it so delicious and even said prayers for Dorian that he may become a great chef one day. Of course being a werewolf it'll be hard to have a job because the full moon may affect you especially it could be a problem if you get the night shift hours at your job. But Dorian didn't have to worry about this for another 7 years or so. For the time in the present he was enjoying Patrick's risotto. Soon with September 30th and Gargamel and Dorian had to make their last preparations for the full moon as everyone was shocked that I was already about to be October 2020 in just hours.
