Chapter 1: The Help Wanted Poster

I got another idea... So my fantasy story... So yeah... I hope you like it though! And please comment about what you think. It'll help a lot with improving my story! Thanks! :D

Lailah's POV

     I'm bored.

     There's nothing to do! For the whole day, all I did was try to master one of the fire spells I heard from some traveler. That traveler obviously was lying. How in the world can you turn fire into pretty designs.... I wish I could do that so my house can look more epic. That's obviously not going to happen.

       Wait... I know what I could do to cure my boredom!

      I ran up the stairs of my 3 story house to grab my wizard's robes so I can head outside with a wizard's pride.

      My house is in a beautiful town called 'Jumpy Apples' I came here from a distant land called 'Distant Land'

      Jumpy Apples' strange name was what lured me here but I stayed because it was a wizard's dream town.

      I'm going to go help someone today. What's the point of being a wizard if you don't help anyone with your powers? Nobody wanted to ask me for help because they never knew how to ask wizards for help in the first place, but... I put a board at towns center to have anyone to offer my help.

     Sometimes I get money for my help, sometimes I get food too. And on occasion I get a special magical item, but I only accept those quests to help others

      Oh yeah... The kind of magic I use is fire-ice... I know those types of magic clash with each other a lot but I learned to do them both. Even though they are both powerful when they're used together... They're also unstable. I haven't had any casualties... yet.

        Anyways... I ran back downstairs to put on my shoes and hat. I love my hat. It's one of a kind! No other wizard has this kind of hat... because they all think it's ridiculous but I... think it's brilliant. It's a pointed hat that's blue with stars covering it and it's AWESOME.

       As I was lost in my thoughts, I walked out the door and strolled into the town center.

      I saw a lady that I helped last week. Her son was up on the snowy mountains trying to get some magical snow to sell to other wizards, but he didn't come back for days so she offered me some magical snow to help him. After I saved her son, who happened to be captured by some snow tigers, his mother insisted on having me take the snow.

      The lady took me out of my thoughts by yelling out, "THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY SON!" Everyone's head turned to my direction

      I blushed. I don't like large crowds looking at me so I quickly mouthed, 'Your welcome' and scurried off to the help board. 

     There was so much things to do... I looked at the whole thing and a poster caught my eyes:

     HELP WANTED

     Catch this wizard for 100,000,000 gold coins!

     Below those words the picture of my nemesis was on there... Justin...

     'What in the world did he do?' I wondered to myself. Then I saw a tiny handwriting below the poster saying that he destroyed an entire fishing village.

        I knew he was evil! I knew it!

       All I've heard stories from other people is that he tries to beat up other wizards but beating up a whole village? That's cruel....

         Why is he my nemesis? Because when we were younger he was in the same school as me and we both were extremely competitive and that went downhill from there.

        On occasion some people pay to see us fight with each other by lying to us. It's really annoying... except when I ge to wipe Justin's smirk off his face when I beat him. Everytime I win, he runs off yelling next time he'll win... which he does. 

          Every time we battle with our magic its I lose, I win, I lose, I win. It's an ongoing pattern....

          Anyways... Now I'm off to find him!
