Stranger

          You are a stranger, I don’t even know who you are,

I never heard your voice or saw your face before,

Yet when I look into your eyes my heart feels so troubled,

I need to know this, I must know this from you,

Why do I feel that I know you so well and from where?

You are a stranger and yet I know that you are so innocent,

I am a stranger to you and yet I know this much,

That you are so pure in heart and mind and yes,

I am a stranger to you and I know, you know so little.

Of this world and life and yourself. Yes, I know this.

Tell me stranger, why I want to make you mine,

You know so much about me, this much I know,

You are a stranger and you have caused me so much turmoil,

My heart yearns to know you more and I don’t understand.

With every step we take I hear my heartbeat go wild,

The very thought of you makes my mind lose sanity.
