Chapter one: Meeting

                                                
Grimm's P.O.V.
I have just woken up from excitement, I was finally going to one of my dad's meetings and I can't believe were, The White Palace. I heard it was a beautiful place to be at yet very bright, I can't wait!! I got out of bed and changed into my clothing and finally put some boots on I didn't need to sense were bugs but it feels warm and more comfortable than stepping in the cold hard floor which also has dirt well that's outside the tent inside it was perfectly clean my father is the King of Nightmares but we tend to move a lot so I verily get to stay home with mama but that's okay because she's taking care of the kingdom back home everything will be fine! I then heard my father call out to me "Grimm, it's time to go we don't want to be late!". "I'm coming papa!" I sed in response I then ran outside and almost tripped well almost thanks to my friend Brumm, he was the same age as me 7 years old. I was almost 8, "be careful young prince brmm...." Brumm sed I then nodded "Of course! I'm just so excited!! Did you know the Pale King's son is 8? I hope I get to meet him so I can have a new friend to play with!" I sed happily, "well bye Brumm!! I'll see you later when I come back and possibly make a new friend!" After that I got in the carriage with my dad and waited.

~After they arrive at the White Palace~

I then got off the carriage after my father got off I held on to his hand as we started to walk inside I looked around amazed at the sigh yet burned my eyes not literally but you get it, it was extremely bright then my dad stoped in front of someone......The Pale King himself they started chatting and I let go of my father's hand and started to look around I guess my father hasn't noticed sense when I turned around he wasn't there anymore I didn't mind sense I can take care of myself and defend myself but tripping always gets me off guard, I then go and look around more everything was so bright and white I'm literally the only thing that someone would notice first sense my clothing are dark colored I haven't been paying attention sense I was distracted and accidentally bumped into someone making me fall to the floor yet they were still standing up and looking from behind and then stared down at me "I-I'm so sorry! I wasent paying attention were I was looking!!" I was looking down a ashamed of myself then I heard a soft "It's okay here let me help you" he then bent down and lended his hand towards me I graved ahold of his hand as I was then lifted up I looked up at him "Let me introduced myself, Hi I'm Pure Vessel, what your name?" Wait..... did he say Pure Vessel? Oh god, oh god, oh god it's the Pale King's son!! But I have to let him know my name I mean he did ask for it politely so it seems fair "I-I'm Grimm" I mumbled "excuse me?" He sed. "I-I'm Grimm" I sed in my normal voice "great to meet you Grimm I've never seen you here before, mind if I show you around?" I shook my head for 'I don't mind' he then smiled well you couldn't see it but I could tell by his eyes and then after that he started to show me around

                   The Pale Kings P.O.V.
At first we were having a normal talk about what to do until I sed "we should make the army bigger we never know when she'll come for revenge" I sed to the Nightmare King, "this is a bad Idea, we'll loose more people if we do that!" He told me " so what? " I asked him. "You really are heartless aren't you? Look around you, your people has suffered enough all those families to feed don't you see?! Your greediness caused all this pain towards your people, your father was even better than th-" I slammed my hands agents the table " DON'T MENTION HIM. " I yelled "jealous are you? That you aren't te great ruler your father was!? Your selfishness for attention went too far Pale!" "What do you know!?" "I know that you lied to kick the Radiance out just because she was getting all the attention! And because if that you have angered a god more powerful than you!!" "SHUT UP, HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT BITCH WOULD TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!?" "1. You lied. 2.kicked her out. And 3.... we'll you get it!" "Ugh I'm getting my buzzers.." "YOU CANT SOLVE ANYTHING WITH BUZZERS!! LISTEN TO ME THIS IS A BAD IDEA YOU'LL LOSE MORE PEOPLE (bugs) IF YOU DO THIS!" "Get out." "What?" "GET OUT OF MY PALACE" The Nightmare King then left with anger and hatred towards me.

                    Grimm's P.O.V.
Me and Pure Vessel were taking right now and laughing with each other and then I see my dad stomping towards us and stops once he's infront of us an picks me up and looks at Pure Vessel.... "Don't. Ever. Talk. To. My. Son. Again." He then started to stomp his way to the carriage I pulled my arm out reaching out for Pure Vessel, I just made a Friend and lost him at the same day, what happened? Once we were in the carriage I look down and then look at my dad as we waited to arrive back in the tent to pack up and go back home "papa, why did we leave? Would I be able to see my friend again?" I asked him he then looks down at me "I'm sorry Grimm I'm afraid you won't be seeing your friend in a long time and we're not allowed back there again no more alliance between us and them." I was confused what an alliance was still but I do understand the 'not allowed back there' part it made me sad... I hope I do see him again someday.

I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of this book, of course again this is my own au of Hollow Knight I have not changed much but I have changed that the Grimmchild which Grimm is in this chapter won't be the same Grimmchild we see in the game.
