Next life

"Avari! Avari! Please stay with me, please don't... Do you hear me!! Wake up!!"

Avari's POV

As I gaze at the bright sun I don't know how I got to this point. I gaze at his blue piercing eyes as I saw tears at both sides, as if this is the last as I saw his face. I then started to hold his paled colored cheeks as I look at him with sadness.

"K..K ...Karna..."

As he continues to sob it makes my heart hurt more than being hit in the battle. I do everything  just to make him happy but the way he looks at me is just like someone as a friend and I know that will be just as I am to him. His eyes stares at me as the tears fall down but I never say much of a word as I spoke to him before.

Karna is really a different guy of kindness and generosity towards others and always protect someone who is in need. He always do the same thing to me as his friend and through this I really admire as more than a friend of mine as well as my protector too.

Until the war began as I hear sounds of swords and cries of battle approaches towards Hastinapur as the war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas started and I just accompanied him up to the time of the war as he defeat the enemies one by one as they fall. Until I ran yo save him only to be struck by an arrow at my back to save him.

"Karna... Please live your life. But I promise someday I will be able to see you.... A ...again... T.. Thank you."

"AVARI!!"

Karna's POV

As I saw her close her eyes, I just don't know what to do but experience pain and tears as I cry. To say good bye to my friend as I hug her closely just as my tears are about to fall but behind all of the pain that I realize, I must face, my worst and mortal enemy.

"You came here to fight but I felt that within you is just true unhappiness."

"Arjuna! Don't ever speak your word or else..." ( Karna continues sobbing)

"Enough of this please." (Foot steps approaching)

"Nakula stay out of this fight. (Looks directly at Nakula) He is my enemy not yours. Just do your duty."

"I understood brother."

"King of Anga. Come and show me your skills to fight."

"If that's what you want for now. I can't give you today."

"So You will postpone it ?"

"For now I will. But some other time I will fight you someday but please give me a time to mourn for her. But I will never forgive you for what you did."

I just did everything from that day on to forget the war as it cause a life that bears the me the sorrow within me. I just hope one day that I we will meet each other again.
