She picked up her mobile and leaned back in her chair, "You have reached Stella Monroe criminal consulter. How may I be of assistance?"
"Ah Stella. Seems you never fell out of the business. Im surprised."
"Hello Moriarty. Are you having cliental issues again and are in need of my service yet again?" she sighed drumming her fingernails against the glass table next to her chair.
"Obviously yes or else I wouldn't be talking to you." Jim said his voice clearly annoyed.
"Aw is wittle James still upset that a girl can do his consulting criminal job better than him? That I have better resources than him? That my clients pay better than his? Or is it the fact that I won't be in a relationship with you little Jimmy boy?" Stella smiles leaning against the side of her chair, her black wavy hair falling down over her shoulders.
Moriarty grimaced and grumbled incoherent words through the phone.
"Grumbling is not very professional Jimmy. Tisk tisk. No wonder you are losing clients. I'll help you, again, just head on over. The address is still the same. I do hope you remember." Stella ended the call, placing her phone in her pocket then stood up preparing for Moriarty's visit.
She prepared tea and set out sweets, knowing how Jim had a very large sweet tooth, then went to change into a more comfortable outfit that wouldn't make him cringe in her lack of classiness. She settled on a pair of dark trousers and a red long sleeve dress shirt. Putting on her black trainers she looked out her window and saw a sleek black car pull up in front of her flat. "Jim always the one to show off." Stella walked down the hall and met Jim at the door smiling. "Hello Mr. Moriarty."
Jim racked his eyes across her body taking in how her red shirt and dark blue trousers clung to her body in all of the right places. Yes he did have feelings for Stella but he knew it could never happen. "You look very nice Monroe. Isn't that the shirt I gave you last Christmas?"
"Yes it is Moriarty. I recall you wanted me to dress more 'appropriately' for this line of business. Come on in and make yourself at home. There is tea and sweets on the table if you would like. Get settled and we can get down to business. Let me grab my journal and a pen." Stella walk into her study grabbing her needed materials then sat in her chair in front of Jim.
Jim crossed his legs and looked Stella in the eyes as he sat back down on her chair. "Sherlock Holmes. Have you heard of him?"
"Of course I have. I have noted your little game and was keeping score. He seems to be barging in on our little business of black market and crime. I knew you would be needing my help soon. I mean such a good old fashion villain as myself needs to have a sidekick every so often." She gave a coy wink at him and put the cap of the pen between her teeth.
He leaned forward placing his elbows on his knees. "A good old fashion villain is putting yourself down Stella. You are the temptress. Oh I could just have you right now. I know you would enjoy it. It would be better than all of this teasing, I can practically smell the sex in the air already."
"Behave Jim. You and I both know how dangerous that could be. We're a dangerous pair to begin with. Remember the school days and how much trouble we got into?" She smiled remembering the simple days.
Jim laughed then stood up, "Messing with the teachers," he walked over infront of Stella, "torturing the people that made fun of our wits, Monroe and Moriarty double trouble." He kneeled in front of her staying eye level with her. "But my favorite part," he ran his hand lightly across the side of Stellas face making her heartbeat speed up slightly which didn't go unnoticed by Jim. "was this." He leaned in and kissed her lips softly and slowly, wanting to make her understand his feelings for her. Stella began to kiss him back which surprised Jim, making him need her more. He then began to kiss her hungrily wrapping his fingers into her hair.
