Revenge

   (I know Clara is not Mrs. Afton's real name, or at least it's not confirmed, but I had to give her a name so,)

   August 18th, 1983

   "Or we can get evidence of something he actually did." Charlie suggested.

   "I think Mom has a camera!! We can take a picture of him doing something bad." Chris schemed.

   "Are you guys allowed to use the camera?" Charlie asked.

   Elizabeth shrugged. "Well, I don't really know."

   "You'd need to ask, then." Charlie reminded her, not wanting to get them in trouble.

   "Well, our mom isn't home." Chris informed her.

   "Then we just have to wait." Charlie simply said, standing still.

   "Okay. Any other proof?" Elizabeth questioned.

   Chris had an idea and he smiled. "Get him to admit it without realizing he admitted it."

   "Ooh! Good idea! But how?" Elizabeth began to think.

   "Talking to him about it when he doesn't know your parents are around? Get him to say a detail that only someone who was there would know?" Charlie guessed, tapping her chin.

   "Ooh, yes!" Elizabeth agreed as Charlie smiled proudly.

   "Micheal is pretty smart... " Chris admitted, sighing.

   "Unfortunately, he is." Elizabeth crossed her arms. "But, I know how we can crack him open!"

   "Really?!" Chris seemed surprised. "How?!"

   "So, let's bother him, and get him to insult us when dad and mom are home!" Elizabeth suggested. She thought it was a good idea.

   "Perfect! This is the best idea you've had yet!" Chris exclaimed, smiling like crazy.

   "I know." Elizabeth started, proud of herself.

   "But then he would have a good reason." Charlie pointed out the flaws in her plan.

   "We just need to wait until mom and dad are home, then we ignore him while he's scolding us, and maybe he'll be even more mean!" Chris told her.

   "Yeah!" Elizabeth agreed.

   Chris giggled. "This is going to be funny!"

   Elizabeth nodded and grinned. "Yeah! This is gonna be awesome! Let's just head to his door, one by one, repeat his name for ages, and see what happens. If he doesn't break, we burst into his room!" She exclaimed.

   "Yes!!!" Chris was clearly really excited about getting revenge on Michael.

   "Is this really a good idea?" Charlie asked, skeptical about their plan.

   "Probably not, but we're doin' it anyway!!!" Chris told her.

   "Yep! We're rebel kids!" Elizabeth thrust her arms out enthusiastically.

   "Okay..." Charlie was unsure about their revenge plan.

   "And we also need a plan B if Mike tries to get us in trouble." Elizabeth told them.

   "I don't know why but the first thing I thought was banana." Charlie added a giggle at the end.

   "Hmm, avoid him as much as possible?" Chris suggested.

   "Yes! Then that means there's no reason to get us in trouble. But if mom and dad ask us why we were bothering Micheal, what should we tell them?" Elizabeth asked.
