Chapter 1

Aria's POV :

6:30 AM

Oh no, Not again.

" Aria are you going to wake or not?" I pressed the pillow against my ear.

" Five minutes more" I yelled not wanting to get up.

" Ok then. I will give your pancakes to your brother" My eyes jerked open hearing it.

" I am up. I am up" I said getting up. My mom chuckled from outside as I heard the sound of footsteps going down. I grabbed my towel and went into the bathroom to take a shower.

" Finally you decided to grace us with your presence" My brother Jorden taunted. I mocked his voice.

" Good morning pig" My dad greeted me as I kissed him on the cheek. Jorden laughed at my nickname.

" Don't call me that dad" I said annoyed by the weird nickname. He just laughed shaking his head.

" Well you look like a pig" Jorden mocked still laughing. I threw a grape at him.

" You bitch" Jorden cursed but mom glared at him, making him shut his mouth. I smirked internally.

" Jorden, don't say foul language in my house" Mom scolded him.

" Sorry mom" My stupid brother apologized now glaring at me. My phone was ringing, it was my best friend Lizzy.

" Mom I am leaving now," I said taking my bag and going out.

Lizzy was already outside. She waved at me when she saw me. I dropped my bag in the back seat and got in the passenger seat.

" Wow, you are looking good" Lizzy complimented me.

" Thanks. You are also looking nice" I said on which she rolled her eyes.

" I have gained weight in the vacation. My cheeks are looking extra chubby" Lizzy whined making me chuckle. She always wants to look perfect.

" Don't laugh" She snapped making me laugh loudly.

" Ok I am sorry" I apologized trying not to laugh. " Now let's go or we are going to be late," I said and she started driving.

We reached the school parking lot. No one was there except us.

" Lizzy hurry up or Mrs. Brown will kill us" I panicked. She just rolled her eyes and locked her car.

" Let's go Ms. Goody shoes" Lizzy taunted me. I just mocked her making face.

I held her hand and dragged her with me inside the school. Lizzy was less concerned about school. When we reached our classroom, I went to open the door but before I could a hand stopped me. I looked at the person who was holding my hand.

" Sweetheart we came here first, so we will go in first" Of course It's Ethan.

" Excuse me! For your information, we came here first. You were 2 steps behind us" Lizzy confronted him.

" Were you measuring? See that's how you wasted your time. Now we are going inside. Let's go Xander" Ethan said arrogantly. Xander who was just standing there gave me small smile which I returned.
