Hello again! It's been a couple of weeks, sorry for taking so long on the update. Uni and work and the shitshow that is the world we live in provide a lot of distractiton when all you want to do is write!
Anyway, I hope you like it. I might make some adaptions in the future the ending, I'm not sure. What do you think?

Tom
When I walk into Catherine's place, all I find is Kyle glumly drinking some whiskey.
"Where's Catherine?" I ask, a bad feeling twisting my guts.
"She's gone."
My stomach lurches. "What do you mean she's gone? Who took her? Why are you here and not looking for her?"
"She wasn't taken. She left."
"Left? What do you mean left?" My voice raises an octave in panic.
Kyle glares at me coldly. "As in she's packed her bags and gone."
I look around. The place is bare. All the crap she always had lying around is gone.
"Where to?" I demand.
He shrugs. "Don't know. She didn't say."
"And you didn't ask her?" I shout.
"It wasn't my place to."
No. There must be something else. She wouldn't leave without saying goodbye to me. I think back to this morning, racking my brain to see if there are any clues as to why she would leave so suddenly but I can't think of any.
"What happened on your shift?" I ask Kyle. It's the only reasonable explanation.
"Her agent called. She got another letter. She freaked and left. That is all I know."
I turn and run out the apartment. Her agent. He must know what has happened to her.
I ride over to Paul's office, breaking every speed limit to get there as fast as possible.
"I'm sorry, but you can't go in there," his secretary says, blocking my way to his office.
I push past her and go in, ignoring her protests. Inside, Paul is talking to a client who I tell to leave. Paul jumps up and starts to say something about calling security but the client has the good sense to leave.
"You can't just barge in here like that!" Paul shouts at me.
"Where is Catherine?" I ask, struggling to keep my voice calm.
He shuts up and sits down. "I'm not going to tell you that."
I pull my gun out and point it at him. "Yes, you are. Before I go full rampage."
The blood drains from his face. "You wouldn't actually kill me, would you?"
"To keep Catherine safe, I would kill anyone who gets in my way."
He holds his hands up in surrender. "I don't know where she is."
I pull the hammer back and he flinches at the sound of the click.
"Seriously! I don't know where she is. All I know is that I called her here earlier. She came here with her uncle, they read a postcard that she got, she suddenly started to panic and she left. She told me to cancel the contract with Damian and that she was going to take care of her mum," he gabbles, leaving me with more questions than answers.
