Chapter Ten- We're Partners

David's P.O.V

After I asked the question Dwight fell silent for a minute making me anxious as I didn't want it to come back negative. He looked up at me before smiling at little.

"I guess that makes us a thing then..." He said as the smile slowly faded as he looked at me with a little sad expression breaking my newly built heart. "That's if you see us like that too." He looked away with a little blush feeling what I felt before.

"Dwight, I don't even know when I started gaining feelings for you, but having sex with you as helped me decide that, I like you. "I grabbed his soft chin and placed my lips onto his. The kisses will never get old, his lips are to soft and sweet. I love this man, it really weird to say since we haven't know each other for long.

"I'm glad..." Dwight said softly whispering, as I pulled away from the kiss, I swear he's such a tease. But I'm happy that we're a thing now.

I got up sorting myself out as Dwight watched me a little.

"Wait where did Claudette and Nea go?" I asked looked behind me as Dwight's eyes widened a little.

"Oh my god I forgot about them!?" A little expression of panic appeared as he rushed over to the open part of the barn, looking around outside "We have to go and look for them." He looked back at me as I looked at him a little confused as I didn't know what to say. I quickly got ready and then walked over to him as he looked back at me.

"We can't split up." I said as he looked at the mud on the floor before looking up at me then smiling again.

"No we have to do this together." He said almost to proudly, like he was acting brave.

Claudette's P. O. V

I don't understand why I went off on my own. But I have to find that woman who came to help me and David. I can't let her die out here, alone.

I run through the little half build or broke built walls as I try to locate where she I last saw her. I hope she is okay.

It wasn't long intill I found the same place she was. It brought back an instant reply of what happened as it reminded me of which way she went. I looked in the direction before setting off that way.

Dwight's P. O. V

I could swear on my life it was this way where I found Dwight and Claudette, but where could of Nea been? I know she wasn't around when I was being chased by that- lets say Huntress.

I was running as fast as I could, trying not to think about the worst. I could hear David close behind me, I don't understand how he had recovered so fast.

"Dwight."I heard him a little as I stopped near a tree as he was stood looking down a little looking down at something.

" What's up?! " I yelled back at him as he signalled me to come over to him. I did but slowly since he was slightly creeping me out.

" What's that?" He pointed at it once I reached him. I followed his finger and the invisible line to the thing that was just there. It was a small tower of bones. It looked like there where three leg bones placed in a square as with anther three holing the skulls up. In the middle had three perfect candles that weren't lit.

"I-I think that's a totem." I said staring to feel a little shiver shake my spine.

"Wait how to I get rid of it?" David asked looking up at me from the floor.

"I don't know that bit," I looked away, I wish I did! "Let's try to remeber where it is and then we can ask Claudette and Nea." I said trying to shake off the bad thoughts of the bones being theirs.

"Yeah let's try and find them." David stood back up rubbing my shoulder, almost like he knew what I was thinking and feeling. I smiled at him as we carried on the way we're looking.
