Identities Revealed||Miraculous Ladybug

Sooo after this new special episode that came out a few days ago, i just had to write a fanfic about 'em. Throughout it,I was thinking how else things could end up if this and that happened instead.

So ,here are my thoughts.

He didn't mean to.

He really didn't mean for things to turn out this way.

It was an accident.

And a big mistake for going there in the first place.

This was supposed to be a good trip,out of troubles.

No villains,no photoshoots,no overprotective father.
It was him,and his classmates.Basically all his friends.

He was still very grateful to Marinette,because obviously without her,his father wouldn't let him join his class to New York.

He's still wondering what she did to convince his father,he really had no hopes ,although Marinette  seemed to have different thoughts about it.

She was pretty confident, pretty sure that he wouldn't stay behind,and the fact that she was right, it really amazed him. That girl really impresses him sometimes.She really is something else.

Looks like she shouldn't have had done this.Things wouldn't end up like this,and Ladybug wouldn't have been disappointed in him.

God.

The disappointment in her eyes..he's never seen her like this before.And it was his fault.It was very heartbreaking to see his partner like this,telling him that she has lost her trust in him already.

'Why didn't I tell her anything?I didn't want to let her down. But here we are, trying to hide from New York's superheroes,because I wasn't paying enough attention as I should have.'he thought.

It all happened so fast,he's still trying to process what's happening around them right now.

Apparently they went down in the sewers,it was the safest place they could go to hide and de-transform without revealing anything to the world.

"You should have told me.."

Ladybug broke his thoughts.

'Right. Concentrate. This is reality. Show her how sorry you truly are.'

Chat Noir couldn't face her. He couldn't look at her at all. He didn't want to see that expression on her face again.He couldn't stand it.

"I.."

he started.

He wanted to speak. He wanted to say something, but words wouldn't come out.

He was just standing there,facing the ground,not daring to look up. He was very guilty, very disappointed he did this to Ladybug.

He was getting angry at himself, she freaking trusted him with all her heart!
Now Paris is getting destroyed for being too damn selfish.

And he can't even do something about it to fix it!

He felt useless.

He doesn't deserve this job.He ruined everything.

"Chat Noir,I'm talking to you". Ladybug spoke again.

..right.

He finally turned his gaze up and looked at her in the eyes.

"I'm really sorry m'lady.. "

That's all that could come out.

Yeah,he knew that a simple sorry can't fix this disaster,but what else could he really say?Argue back?For what?

She has every right to be mad at him.

Ladybug on the other hand didn't say anything after his apology, and that was killing him inside.
She was staring at him,but it was hard to tell about what she was thinking of.

'She's probably thinking of how much better things would be without me around..'
he thought as he looked down on the ground again,preventing Ladybug to see his tears that started to fall down.

The noise of the miraculous broke the silence, alerting them that their costumes were about to wear off.

Ladybug ran to hide on the left side of the wall,and Chat on the right side.

"I really trusted you Chat.."

Ladybug said as her transformation was wearing off, in sync with Chat's.

That's it. He couldn't stand this anymore. He felt too weak at this point,something he had never felt before.

"You are better off without me."

Ladybug's eyes widened. She never said such a thing-

"Please forgive me my friend" he told Plagg as he was taking off his ring.

"What?NO!"Plagg exclaimed.

"I renounce you,Plagg.."

"What?!!"
She couldn't believe her ears. Was he for real..?

"I never want to risk harming anyone ever again..least of all you"
He said as he put his ring on the ground  and then started running away with tears falling from his eyes.

"WAIT!"

Marinette got the ring from the ground and started running as fast as she could,after him.
She couldn't see much ,everything was blurry because of the tears. She couldn't just let him go like this.

Yeah,she may be mad at him but everyone makes mistakes. He can't just give up because of one failure. She can't do this without him.

"CHAT NOIR!S'IL VOUS PLAÎT!DON'T GO!"

He was too far,she couldn't reach him,and he wouldn't stop running until he disappeared from her sight.

He was running as fast as his legs could take,not daring to look back. He was completely ignoring her calls.

There was no use. She stopped there.
