Chapter 12- A New Friend

**Julie P.O.V.**
"Parkinson?" I said

"Yeah. But I'm nothing like my older sister." Ari said. Her attitude may not be the same but she looked like her sister. She a wavy dark hair with her sister's nose, eyes and mouth. Despite their similarites, Ari was much prettier than Pansy.

"But your a Slytherin?" I said

"AMBITIOUS! SLYTHERINS ARE AMBITIOUS, NOT MEAN!" she said with a tone of annoyence.

"I'm sorry." I said realizing that I was wrong.

"It's ok. It's just that I don't like when people assume that all Slytherins are bad just because You Know Who was in it."

"Oh. I get it. So, I guess you know who I am." I said. She dropped her school bag on the ground a sat down next to me.

"Sure do. The Malfoy that changed fate. Your almost as big as Harry Potter." she said. When she said Harry's name, sadness washed over me. I began to cry. "Was it something I said?" Ari said.

I explained everything to her. She tried telling me that everything would be ok.

"Someone would have to be pretty mean to want to do something that bad to such a nice person like you. Carol is a jerk." Ari said

"I know." I said, but I was still crying and upset.

"Hey, you can't let people like that beat you down. There's loads of jerks out there. You can't let one take so much damage." she said.

And she was right.

~~ONE WEEK LATER~~
I now spend most of my time either with Ari or at the library. I learned that she was a huge Weird Sisters fan. She was super excited because for her 15 birthday she was going l one of their concerts.

Today was another Quidditch match. We decided that we would go together. We meet by the Potions Classroom and then began walking toward the exit of the school.

As we turned the corner I couldn't believe my eyes. I front if us, stood a paralyzed Hermione.

"F-" Ari started but I looked at her. "F- firetruck." She said instead. I wanted to laugh but I was to freaked out.

"Help!" I screamed and McGonnagal, Dumbledore and Madame Pomfrey came running down the hall.

"Professor we were just-" Ari started.

"Minerva, please cancel the match and tell Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasly to report to the hospital wing. Madame Pomfrey, please get Miss Granger to the Hospital Wing immediately." Dumbledore said.

We followed Madame Pomfrey up the stairs and sat with Hermione. I few moments later Harry and Ron came barging in.

"What the bloody hell are you doing here?" Ron said quite disrespectfuly.

"If it wasn't for us, your precious friend wouldn't have been found until after the match." Ari said.

"Why don't you just leave?" Ron said

"Why don't you?" Ari said with a very sassy voice.

"Just shut up! Someone was just paralyzed and your arguing! Why dont you all just leave?" Harry said

"Harry?" Ron said suprised. Harry gave him the look and he left.

"Why should I listen to you?" Ari said. DANG! She had such a sassy attitude.

"Ari, drop it." I said quitely.

"I meant you too." Harry said

"Harry we need to talk this was all a mistake. Carol was-"

"Just shut up and go!"

"What the heck man! Why don't you!? You are so arrogant and disrespectful! I'd rather be trapped in a room full of dementors then a room with you!" Ari said. She turned around and left the room without another word.

I did the same.
