Olivia's POV(heyy gurl)

I woke up to buzzing. I looked at my phone. 34 missed calls and 62 messages. 26 voice mails. All from Dave. I went to the bathroom, sat on the covered toilet and listen to all of the voicemails.
Voice mail #1: "Olivia! Get back here right now! I swear to god I'm going to kill you."
Voice mail #12: "Im sorry baby just pleas come back.
Voice mail #19: "Please, call me back. Tell me you're safe."
Voice mail #26: I'm done fucking playing! WHEN YOU GET BACK YOULL WISH YOU WERE NEVER BORN."

The texts pretty much said the same thing. A tear slipped out and on to my cheek. He's going to kill me.

If I ignore him, then he'll hurt me even more. So I'll call him back and say I'm at my moms house and safe. Hopefully he won't kill me.

Ring one. Ring two. "Hello?!" He yelled. "Hello." I said. "Where the fuck have you been?!" He said. "My moms house for thanksgiving." I said. Thank god for thanksgiving. "Please come home." He said. "Dave, I am home." I said. "No! I mean to campus." he said. "I love you." He said. Yeah right. "I'll be back Monday." I said. "No. Come now." He said. "Dave I'm with family." I said. "Didn't you tell me that Jason used to live where you live?" He said. "Yeah. But I moved in with my mom, whose 40 minutes away from him." I said. "That's too close." He said. "Just please wait." I said. "I'm coming to get you." He said. "What?! No!" I said. "What's the address?" He asked. "No Dave I promise I'll be back." I said.

I looked up and saw Jason in the doorway. He took the Phone. He put the phone to his ear and quickly moved it away due to Dave's screaming. He hung up. "No!" I yelled. "What?" He said. "Now he's going to be even angrier." I said. "Oh, I'm so sorry." He said. "It's okay." I muttered. "My moms making breakfast." He said. "What were you doing in here?" He asked. "Dave left voicemails and texts." I said. "So I came in here to listen to them." He nodded. "Can I see them." I handed him the phone and played them. He read the messages too. "What the hell?" He said. I shrugged. "Livy, I'm not letting you go near him." He said. "We have classes." She said. "Outside of school, he's not laying a finger on you."

"Ok." I said. "Please. Just don't provoke him too much." I said. He nodded. "And don't tell him I'm here. DONT even talk to him." I said. "Ok." He said. "Let's go eat breakfast." He said. He put his arm around me. It made me feel safe.

We went downstairs and the table was set once again. "Good morning!" My mom and Jason's mom said. "Hey." Jason said.
We ate breakfast and got dressed. As I was putting on a shirt Jason was staring at me. "What?" I said. "Your bruises." He said. Tears formed in his eyes. "It hurts me to see this." He said. He knows how it feels to be hurt. Abused. "You can't stay with him." He said. "I know." I said sliding a shirt on. I slid my pajamas pants off to reveal more bruises. Jason burst into tears. "This isn't fair. You don't deserve this!" I quickly pulled on my jeans and went to comfort him. His hands were covering his face. "This is all my fault If I didn't cheat, then maybe none of this would've happened. We would've been together. We would've come home for Thanksgiving....together." He sobbed. "Don't." I said. "This isn't your fault." I said. "Yes it is!" He yelled. His dad came in yelling. "Shut the hell up faggot!" He yelled. "Wow drunk already? It's only 10:34." Jason said as he sniffled. "Shut up!" He yelled. He left. "Jerk." Jason mumbled. I giggled. "When you're angry you flare your nostrils." I said. "When you're angry you're cute." He said. "How? I'm not intimidating?" I asked. "What? Hellll no" He said. "Definitely not." He said.

We sat in his room talking for almost two hours. My phone buzzed. It was a message. It said. "7:30pm." "What?" I said. "Hmm?" Jason peered over my shoulder since I was sitting on his lap. (Not like that you little perverts.) "Dave texted me." I said. I showed him the phone. "7:30pm?" He said confused. "Yeah." He shrugged. I put my phone down. "I'll ignore it." I said. "Okayyy." Jason said. "Soo...about that nickname." I rolled my eyes. "No. I don't want a nickname. You already call me Livy and that's fine." I said. "Well, can I have one?" He asked. "Jase?" He nodded. "Hmm. Jase. I'll get used to it." He said. I smiled. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" I said.
"I'm taking you to Wisconsin because you're so cheesy." He said. "You're cheesier." I said. "And yes. It did hurt." He said. I laughed.

"You just proved your cheesiness." I said. "Is that even I word?" He asked. "I don't know." I said. "Let's go for a walk." He said. "Ok." I looked at the time. 1:12.

Jasons POV.

When we got home it was 3:32. We decided to make some food. We ate our sandwiches and went to my room. "I still haven't gotten over the fact that I found you." I said. "Found me?" She asked. "Yeah. I probably wouldn't have seen you ever again if it weren't for college." I said. "None of this would of happened if it weren't for college." Olivia laughed. "Yeah." I said.
"Did you have any friends before you moved here?" She asked.
"Nope I was homeschooled when I was 8 because teachers and students kept asking about my bruises and I wasn't social." I explained. "Oh." She said. "But now I have you and great friends." I said. "Aww." She said. She ruffles my hair. "Hey!" I said. Dylan walked by. "I asked Aubrey out." He said. Grinning. Aubrey has blossomed into a beautiful sixteen year old. "You and her have always had an instant connection." Olivia said. I nodded. "That would make you my sister in-law twice basically." He laughed. "Marriage plans already?" Olivia laughed.

We talked for a long time. Aubrey came in and we all talked for a while.
It's now 6:37 and it's getting dark. "We should make some hot chocolate!" Olivia exclaimed. "Ok." I said. We went down and made our hot chocolate. I found the whip cream and smirked. Luckily Dylan saw me and grabbed the other bottles. We looked at each other. "1." I said. "2." He finished. "3!!" We yelled at the same time. We turned around spraying the whip cream all over Olivia and Aubrey. "Wha- ahhh." They yelled.
It was so fun. They grabbed the nearest thing next to them which was Apple pie. This has changed from making hot cocoa to an all out thanksgiving food fight.

After we were finished we cleaned up we put on a movie and made Popcorn. Dylan had his arm around Aubrey which made me smile. I just hope he doesn't make the same mistakes I did. Aubrey doesn't deserve it. I looked down at Olivia who was sleeping. This is the life. Hot chocolate. Popcorn. Movie. Quality time with loved ones. These are the moments I cherish the most. The simple ones.
I looked at the time 7:28. I almost forgot Dave's message. What did it say again? 8:30? I think. Eh. I'm not worried.

Dave's POV
I looked at the address that the phone called traced back to. 1214. 1210, 1212, ah there it is. 1214. I walked up the steps.

Ding dong.
