CHAPTER SIX - ##YOU WORK HERE

[ Mark’s Groceries in New York, 8:49am, Aisle 4 ]

HARRY: (flustered) “Uh, hey…Louis.” 

LOUIS: (smiles) “Harry right?” 

HARRY: (nods, bends down, picks up the can) 

MR.JEFFERSON: (confused) “So I see that you two have already meet…well Harry, if you don’t mind, be a great bud if you would help show Louis around and show him how to stack stuff, yeah? That’d be nice.” (pats harry’s back,walks away from both boys)

HARRY: (awkward) “So,um basically…you know how to stack like this right?” (starts placing the cans on the shelves)

LOUIS: (teasing) “You’d be a really bad teacher curls.” (laughing, shaking his head)

HARRY: (blushes, mumbles) “Sorry…but, uh you pretty much take the old cans and put them into the front so they…won’t go bad and all, and you put the new one’s in the back.”

LOUIS: (smiles) “Alright, anything else?”

HARRY: (scratches the back of his neck) “You, um know how to clean right?”

LOUIS: “Yep, um— how about you show me around?”

HARRY: “Sure, good idea…follow me?” (walks with louis, shows where items go)

LOUIS: “So when did you start working here curly?” (bits lip)

HARRY: (frowns in thought) “Uh, I think…five months ago, yeah pretty sure. How about you?” (widens eyes) “Ignore that.” (whispers,to himself) “I’m such a fool.”

LOUIS: (giggles) “I like you already, and that doesn’t happen very often.”

HARRY: (shoves his hands down his back pockets, smiles) “…Thanks, um well this is the deli section, and over there, that’s Kris. He works in the deli, of course, you probably noticed that…He’s super friendly, but if you get on his bad side, good luck.” (smirks, walks around with louis) “And we are at the dairy section now, which is aisle 7.” (grinning) “Do you want to hear a joke?”

LOUIS: (smiles) “Sure, why not.”

HARRY: “Alright, knock knock?”

LOUIS: “Who’s there?”
