Betty's POV

We decided to leave Frisk and Asriel to go to the old workshop to think, well, for me to think. 'Who was that girl? ' The thought kept ringing in my head. And worse, Akumu was getting hangry. This was not good. "(Not now, Kumu,)" I whispered to him. Suddenly, I heard an unfamiliar voice call. "Heya, Betty." I quickly shifted around to see none other then the girl from when Frisk met me. "Ah, hello." I responded in relief. "So, uhm, you said you needed to go someplace?" she asked curiously. "Yes..why?" I asked in response. Why was she interested in the subject? Was she going to expose me? Before I could think about it any longer, she replied. "Well I was just wondering why. You know, maybe I could help. If I'm being honest, I don't really have anything better to do.." She looked like she was bored out of her mind, same as me. "Well no, just to think about something." I replied reassuringly. She closed her bubbling (E/C) eyes, then they opened and lighted up as though she made a groundbreaking discovery. "Oh! Maybe you were trying to find a calming place to think." she concluded. She was right though. I *did* need to think. Before I could respond though, she grabbed my hand and walked casually towards the ditch.

"W-wait, hold on!"I yelled as the girl stopped abruptly. "Huh? Why did you wanna stop?" she asked. "I..never got your name." I replied nervously. "Oh, that question is easy," she said. "It's (Y/N)," she said bluntly...

But yet...

I saw the slightest smirk on her face.

(Y/N)'s POV

As me and Betty-chan walked to the ditch, I realised something. ' A wager... ' I thought. ' If I could wager something to Betty involving both our soul traits and our plans to bring chaos, maybe...no. I cant just do that right now. It's too early.' These ideas on how to get the despair from both my plan and possibly Betty-chan's even continued when we arrived at the ditch.

I then finally came to the conclusion that I wouldn't use the wager idea just yet. But I would try and get closer to Betty so I *can* eventually. "Hey, Betty?" i asked as her attention turned to me. "Yeah?" she replied, curious as to what I had to say. "What do you think your soul trait is?" I asked curiously. Betty's face looked solemn as she showed her bright pink soul. "I'm not sure...I wanted to think about it but..." Her voice trailed off in sorrow. "Hey hey, I'm not gonna let you be all bummed out now, alright? In fact, you're not the only one who doesn't really know their own soul trait." I stated with a smirk, showing my greyish-purple soul. Her eyes widened at this. "I, uh, don't think that's the normal shade of purple..." She stated, confused. "I know. I'm not sure what it means either, which is fanFUCKINGtastic..heh.."I chuckled as I gave Betty a reassuring smile.

There was a moment of silence, and I then pulled out an imaginary watch and tapped my wrist. "Oh, looks like I might have to go see Frisk and Asriel. Cya later Betty!" I cheered slightly as I speed-walked away.
