No one's POV

It had been a few  days since Tsukishima kun got a girlfriend. Y/n distanced herself and Tsukishima noticed. From walking with each other everyday to not seeing each other for a whole day unless they had practice. 

Y/n POV

I need to fall out of love. Tsu kun is happy and that's what matters, who cares if I'm dead inside. He's always been there for me and was happy for your achievements. So why can't I be happy for him just this once...

No one's POV

Y/n kept her diary with her at all times, of course no one knew of this because the context of her diary was strictly just Rants, and her feelings towards her bestfriend. Her deepest and darkest secrets were hidden past the pages of he book. She guarded her diary with her life. She felt that if no one was there for her, at least her diary could understand and listen to whatever she had to get off her chest. 

It was the end of school, and now time for practice, y/n dragged herself to the gym. Not noticing the tall blond and another figure sitting on the bench. While y/n proceeds to walk past the two figures a deep voice bluntly calls her. "Oiii shortie, wait up. We can walk together. Plus I need to talk to you." Y/n stands there in utter shock, not facing the two. She feels her chest tighten and her heart breaks. "Ok babe, I'll see you tomorrow. I wanna go to the mall with my friends. Make sure you text me" the girl says. The girl quickly turns to y/n's back and stares daggers at her.  Tsukishima turns and starts to walk up to the shuttering y/n. 

The two carry on, there was a awkward silence between them until Tsukishima broke the silence. "Oiiii, why are you so quiet. Its less annoying but I know somethings wrong. What happened." "nothings wrong beanstalk." y/n bluntly replies. Tsukishima couldn't help but feel sad. He knew there was something wrong. He wanted to reassure her. But she was so persistent in not sharing, there was nothing the boy could do but give her space. "y/n, why have you been ignoring me, you usually annoy me." Tsukishima states. "No reason, I just wanted to give you space. So you had enough time for your new girlfriend." Tsukishima's eyes widen, then he smiles and pats y/n's head which surprises y/n, "Thanks shortie. I guess you aren't that annoying any more." y/n faces him and gives him a reassuring smile. The rest of the walk all he could talk about was her, y/n couldn't do anything but listens. Her heart broke, over and over and over again. He smiled, he laughed, he blushed at the very thought of his girlfriend. Y/n became weak. Her legs wobbled, tears formed her nose sniffled. It took everything in her not to breakdown in front of her friend. 

"Oiii shortie, whats wrong? you look sick. I'll tell coach you're sick and take you home." with that he left. Y/n stood there. A gush of wind hit her face, she trembled, her heart could not withstand the heartbreak. So she started walking to the gym. Tsukishima was talking to the coach. She yelled out to the coach to not mind Tsukishima and reassured him that she was fine.

 she carried on. the other managers tried their best to cheer y/n up, y/n put up a fake happy girl act. It was convincing the team so they didn't seem to bother her. Practice was nearly over, y/n walked outside to fill some bottles up. When she heard a voice call out to her. " OI whorebag, listen I don't know what you think you're doing but if you are trying to steal my man. Just know I will try everything in my power to end you." This took y/n by shock. Before y/n could respond the girl walked into the gym. Leaving y/n speechless. Y/n was so mad but she couldn't do nothing now. Practice was over and Y/n ran home, trying to avoid anyone who tried to offer to walk her home. 

Y/n was angry, she was going through all of it. She felt as though that her nightmare was too much for her. But little did she know, this was just the beginning of her trials. She felt that nothing could hurt her even more. But she was sadly mistaken. After the confrontation incident, Tsukishima distanced himself from Y/n. This broke Y/n even more. Sure she was distancing herself from him, but she had a reason. She would often feel guilty and give in and talk to Tsukishima. But now he would just act coldly to her. She continued to try to hang out with her best friend but he finally gave in and confronted her. "Y/n, i'm sorry but we cannot hang out anymore. My girlfriend doesn't feel comfortable with us together." Y/n felt as if her heart couldn't take it. But being the girl y/n is, she simply smiled and reassured him " Oh I didn't realize, sorry Tsukishima. I hope your happy. Take care of youself" Tsukishima felt weird, y/n never called him by his real name, she reffered to him as bean stalk or tsuki or even tsu kun. But it didn't bother him too much. The sense of feeling the need to look after y/n to protect her and aid to her needs faded away, he was too in love with his girlfriend to even realize the pain he was causing to his childhood bestfriend. 

Y/n felt empty inside, she walked past tsukishima and was treated like a stranger. She couldn't stand this. But there was nothing she could do. All she could do was wish him all the happiness she never got to give him. Whiloe her own heart tore into pieces.
