My punishment

I woke up at exactly at eight in the evening., as I prepare myself for the game as I readied a small bag full of water and food, for that dreadful race to come.

I also ate a lot to give my body nutrients to run that far for the devil's race.,

"Thanks mom for the food, but is it okay if I go out later?" I asked permission to both of them cause I know they'll be worried of me if I did leave with out there notice

"you have my permission Ray" Dad said while mom and I wash the dishes

"Just don't stay out too late, okay?" mom said which I just nod with crossed fingers

After the I head back to my room to change clothes as I wait for the time.

it's almost eleven when I decided to go out and went to the park where the group would meet as I saw Aki just sitting over there while waiting for the time..,

'He is so cute... He really is a big brother type for me though.. as for the lover I like the one similar to a bad boy prince' I thought as I somewhat thank god that he gave me a little bit of hope to survive in the presence of Aki

"Aki?" I called his name as I walked towards his direction

"Ray? What are you doing here?" he asked out of concern

"I always come here, when I can't sleep at night cause of those nightmares" I said sitting next to him

"Is that so?" he asked in the slumps, waiting for the punishment to come

"so what are you here for?" I asked concerned for his well being since he already experienced this shit once and now its just like a reply for him with his late classmates

"Waiting for my death" he bluntly said that took me by surprised as he is still calm saying that and accepting his death.

"have you eaten yet?" I asked acting as if I don't know a thing as I'm also trying to calm myself cause if this bastard die., there's no other choice but to also die

'Come on you're the only hope here don't you dare think of dying yet!' I rant in my head even though I know, how that two faced bitch will cheat him for that kiss.

"I guess your just hungry, I'll get you something to eat at the nearby store., Please stay here and wait for me" I offered as I left him there to buy something to eat

once I reached the store I started to chant to not cry nor freak out whatever happens as It will only crush the wall I've been preparing this past few months

'god why are you so cruel to me? others got reincarnated in some dream land fairytale., or at least they'll become overpowered or so.., did you hate me so much to send me in this world where you get murder in unexplainable way if you don't comply with the order?!' I kept ranting as I exit the store with the goods I've bought
