DAHLIA ROSE MONTGOMERY already had enough shit to worry about before Cedric Diggory decided to enter ━━ Or rather, reenter ━━ her life, thank you very much. She's a walking bundle of anxiety just waiting to explode, and there's a very good chance that her ex boyfriend ━━Who is supposed to be dead, mind you ━━randomlyreappearingin her life may just send her over the edge.
Her seventh year is already stressing her out enough as it is. With upcoming NEWTS and a new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor who appears to have it out for her, Lia just can't seem to catch a fucking break. Not to mention the fact that she's been having traumatising night terrors for the past two years, ever since the deranged wizard who murdered her mother escaped ━━Andhas still not been found, which is definitely not easing her anxiety ━━from Azkaban. Between falling asleep in the library studying for her NEWTS, and the insomnia that occurs as a result of her nightmares, everyone around her seems to be on stand by for the Dahlia━sanity━bomb to finally explode. She absolutely hates the way people walk on egg shells around her for ━━what they think is the benefit of ━━her mental health. But when her first ever boyfriend, Cedric Diggory, reappears after being dead for five months, and she seems to be the only person who can see him, even Dahlia herself begins to think that the timer on the bomb might have finally gone off.
See, the thing is, ghosts aren't exactly unusual in the wizarding world. But the other thing is that everyone should be able to see them. So the fact that only Dahlia can see her dead ex boyfriend is definitely reason for concern. Which is why she absolutely cannot let anybody know that he's there.
But Cedric is there. And she's not entirely sure what to do about that.
Even though they ended their relationship on bad terms, he is kind of . . . dead. And, no matter how she felt for him before, an untimely death is definitely enough to warrant pity from Lia. Besides, for whatever reason, she is the only one who can see him. So, she supposes, now she feels kindaobligated to help him out.
