🍯DAHLIA ALMOST JUMPED OUT OF her fucking skin when she awoke on Saturday morning. She had been so knocked out from her hard labour and emotional torment ━━━ From Umbridge, that is. Not from anything else that may or may not have upset her ━━━ the night before, that she hadn't quite registered the ambient noise of her roommate rummaging around in the trunk beneath her bed. Frankly, she wouldn't have been surprised to find out that someone had slipped her a Sleeping Draught before bed last night.
Anyway, the point was: it was incredibly startling for Dahlia to open her eyes and see a big blob of a figure right beside her.
She gasped loudly in shock. "Fucking hell, Leesh! What time is it?"
"Well, good afternoon, sleepyhead," Alicia Spinnet, Dahlia's close friend and dorm mate greeted her with a teasing tone. "Congratulations. You've officially slept through the entire morning."
"What?"
To amend: Dahlia almost jumped out of her fucking skin when she awoke on Saturday afternoon.
"You haven't really been sleeping much lately, so we didn't want to wake you. Everyone's gone down for an early lunch before tryouts," Alicia told her whilst she continued to ransack Dee's trunk without permission. "Which is stupid, really, if you ask me, because who eats right before they play? That's just fucking dumb."
"Well, Ange is the captain, so I'm pretty sure she knows what she's do—" Dahlia cut her justification short at the sight of a red, bejewelled journal in Alicia's hand. "Hey! Is that my diary?"
"Relax. I wasn't reading it."
"Get out of my trunk, you bitch!" Dahlia launched a pillow at Alicia's head. "We're not even the same size!"
"I don't want your uggo clothes, Dee." Alicia rolled her eyes and stood up to examine the contents of Dahlia's trunk which had been carelessly tossed on the floor. "I'm looking for my quidditch gloves. I can't find them anywhere!"
"Well quit looking for them in my stuff," Dahlia insisted pointedly. "I don't even play quidditch."
"Okay, fine, but I don't know where else they could fucking be!"
Dahlia sighed. Audibly. Like, it was one big fucking sigh. It wasn't that she was annoyed or anything. She was just still waking up and hadn't quite mustered up the energy to deal with anyone yet ━━ Least of all the rumbustious Alicia Spinnet.
"Maybe you left them in the common room or something," She offered helplessly. She just wanted Alicia to stop annoying her ━━ Oh, wait. Maybe she was annoyed.
