My objective was clear, and thanks to death, so was my path, the only way to conquer this curse, is to place this thorned rose upon my grandfather's grave.
I rode my motorcycle out of town, through the rising morning, it was a bright orange spread across the sky. I spotted the nightmare watching me from several different places, but it seemed during the day it was unable to engage me.
I arrived at the trailer park where my great grandfather was buried. It was abandoned by now, but I sense it has some sort of importance.
I park my motorcycle and head to my Great Grandpa's grave, it was an old stone grave, worn with time, but I could just barely make out the words "Trevor Redde" upon the stone. Not wasting a moment, I place the rose upon his grave, and it began to burn. the ash and cinder form into a book, called 'Equum malis cultus' authored by David Altaras, the date written as '1123' .
she opened up the book, revealing english words, strange, considering the title. There wasn't much discernable information, besides the operations of a cult worshipping an "Equum Malis," 'evil horse' in english.
Finally, the book explained how to banish 'Equum Malis'
"In order to banish the Equum Malis, one must bring it to the heart of the cult, and say the words "Ad quos eieci te" and the beast shall be banished to dwell in the flow of time evermore"
I thought to myself as to why no one attempted this until now, if this Nightmare seemingly existed since at least 1123.
Night fell upon the hills of the trailer park, and I was ready. the Nightmare trotted up and stood on the hill, the heart of the cult was this trailer park, and I prepared to say the words. "AD QUOS EIECI TE!" I shout, and I subsequently hear a ticking sound, as a blue and white light engulfs the Nightmare.
Was it defeated? Was it merely teleported somewhere else?
The question that evermore dwelled upon my mind was lifted, but only replaced with a knew, potentially worse one.
