Win POV
I miss my mom.
She passed away a year ago. My life completely changed after she left me. My dad died when I was young and I don't really remember him. Now it's only me and my older brother, Toptap.
He doesn't live with me, he has to work so he moved out. I also chose to move into a dorm since I'm going to start at University. I feel so lonely now. I don't think I can be as happy as I was before.
There is one thing that I'm glad to have right now. My group of friends are the ones who have been supporting me through all this. They are coming to get me later today so we could go to the first day of University.
*Knock*
I open the door and I see the crazy guys I call Best friends.
"Heyyy, are you ready?" jj asks
"How are you feeling win?" Khaotung asks
"Did you rest well?" Pluem asks
I am so glad to have them in my life. They are always caring for me and trying to lift up my mood. I try to forget what I was thinking before. I try to smile and be happy but it's just not the same as before.
"Yes, I'm ready. Im feeling nervous, and yes I slept well" I reply
"Okay good! Let's go we don't want to be late on out first day!" Jj says
The university is 20 minutes away from my dorm so we take my car. The guys are really excited for today. They keep talking about meeting girls and what classes they are going to like.
"I heard we also have to join clubs" pluem says
"Ughhh seriously, well you know, we can all join a club together so we won't be lonely" jj says
"Yeah, sure I'd like that" I say
"Cool, okay so let's meet at lunch to talk about the clubs" - Khaotung says
"Okay" pluem replies
We all got into the faculty of law. But we don't have many classes together. We do all have the same luch so we decided to meet at that time.
We go our separate ways since we all have different classes first. I walk to my class and sit in the back. Our proffesor makes everyone introduce themselves. When Its my turn I stand up.
"Hi, my name is Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn but you can just call me Win."
Some people keep staring at even after my turn has passed. I don't like it, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I ignore them and look straight at the front.
*Skip to lunch*
"Okay let's go check out what clubs to join" - jj says with excitement
"Win, I think you should join the cheerleading club, you did that back in highschool" - Khaotung suggest
"I don't know, I thought we said we would join something together"-w
"We can join something else together" Pluem tells me
"hm, okay I'll join then" I reply
I went to sing up while my friends waited for me. When I went back I saw them talking to some girls from the swimming team.
"Hey what's up?" I ask
"Oh hey we thought we would join the swimming team" Pluem told me while still looking at the girls
"oh, I don't really like this club, let's look for another one" I tell them
The girls were leaving and my friends left with them.
"So sorry win, talk later!" Khay yells out
Yes, I was thankful for my friends staying with me. But sometimes they are just complete idiots. I decided to around and look at the other clubs and I found the music club. I actually want to join this because music is one of the only thing that can make me feel better these days.
I especially love Scrubb. Their song make you feel so many happy things. I would love to learn how to play one of their songs. I also want to hear someone play their songs live. I know this will definitely make me happy.
I go sign up and this cute senior comes and greets me.
"Hi! Are you here to sign up for the music club? My name is Air by the way!" She said
" Um..hi, yeah my name is Win" I replied
"Cool! Okay you can fill this out and we'll let you know when the club meetings are" she said handing me a paper and pen.
When I finish I went to the table and handed it to her. She thanked me and just as I was going away I saw a guy. He looked happy to be there. He had a guitar and was chatting with some of the girls.
'Maybe I'll be this happy when I join the club' I thought
We made eye contact for a second before I turned around and left.
After picking the clubs I realized I didn't have any classes so I decided to go home. I texted the guys to tell them I was going to be heading home. They said that they'll cacht a ride with Jj's twin brother, Aj.
Once I got home I wanted to sleep. I always feel exhausted these days. When ever I'm by myself I can't help think of my mom. I know she would like me to keep going on with my life. She wouldn't want to see me sad but I can't help it.
'i promise mom I'll be happy soon, you don't have to worry about me, I'll be fine' I thought as I fell asleep.
