48 hours earlier

I was sitting at my desk, the same desk I have had for 14 years now, but somethings was different. It was hard to focus on cases we've had ever since Ziva left. The whole team has been a little off as everyone tried to make up for the obvious hole in the team.
" Agent DiNozzo, you're needed in the conference room" the director barked from the stairs. I knew this was going to happen at one point. I've been getting emails that I have been needing to meet with a lady from MPS but I never had the power to do so.
As I walked to the conference room it was almost like time slowed down around me I knew we were going to talk about Ziva and I just want ready to get into it at this point.
Once I get the the condense room it takes me a long minute before I'm able to go inside. When I do I see a older lady, that I would have swooned over before but these were different times, and Gibbs.
"Hello Mr.DiNozzo, we need to talk" started the woman, " as you most likely know, Israel was un-"
"I know what you're going to say lady!"-I interrupted-"Ziva's dead. We know, so why am I here?"
"You're here because as was told there was one survivor that was pulled from the blast" she explained to me. Then turned to the side and called out-" bring in Thali"
I was confused-" wasn't Thalia Zivas sister? I thought she died years ago?"
"For name sake yes" she said as the door open and a little girl walked in with an agent. "This is Thali, Zivas daughter."
This caught me off guard 'Ziva had a daughter?' I looked down at her and saw Zivas curly hair and brown eyes.
"-And your daughter too Tony" she continued. This was my daughter? How could she be mine, Zivas been gone for so long.
" if your Questioning weathers it's yours DiNozzo, tests have been done including DNA and it does match yours."
Little while later
I was sitting down now with the Mossad director and Tali and the end of the table.
"If I knew she was pregnant I would have been there in a second" I said feeling horrible, thinking of the pain Ziva must have gone through and to have done it alone.
"That is why she didn't tell you, she knew you would have come down there and she needs you safe to take care of Tali"
"That was not for her to decide" I snapped, I didn't mean to but this conversation was making me miss Zeva more than I already was.
" you know independent Ziva was, she was comfortable raising Tali on her own"
"Without telling?" I whispered.
"Ziva later grew to regret that as Thali grew older but she didn't know what to say or how to bring it up."
"Then she didn't know me at all" I mumbled in anger as their was a knock at the door.
*I put the video that this scene came from at the top*
