Hi, my name is Alex, though my certification is Red-313. Now where to begin on this story well, I suppose getting onto the shuttle would be a good idea, Skeld v2 was the model of the shuttle similar to the original but larger, the new model had proper dormitories and everything. Putting it like that puts the bar on the floor but it was great a revolutionary piece of technology. Well anyway that's all the explaining I can do for now this really was an eventful trip.
The morning sun blinded me even through the dark visor on launch day, some of the best weather all year and I was leaving the planet, suppose it could be worse after all. I gazed at the nearby sea, only a hundred or so metres away. Waves gently ran across the almost white sand before retreating back into the ocean. A beautiful sight to be sure, I'd miss this planet, sure I'll be back in a few weeks but I would be farther away from my family than ever before.
"Ayo red" I heard a voice, I turned and saw Kai, designation Blue-313. "I'll be right there" I replied before picking up my luggage. There wasn't as much as you'd expect we had a huge supply of most necessities on board. All we really had to pack was clothes and leisure items. I followed the other 11 crew mates designated for the trip. As we lined up outside the scanners and security started the lengthy process to permit us onto the ship, see no mistakes could be made that could risk losing everything that had been worked towards on this project.
I stood in line silently as my fellow crewmates were admitted on, so far everything was going smoothly. When it was finally my turn I handed the security my ID card and let them search my luggage. Once I was cleared I stepped onto the ship and that was where the adventure began.
