It's already midnight and everyone's already asleep, expect me. I keep changing my sleeping position into different angle in order for me to sleep tight. I sighed, knowing none of these positions will help me to fall back to sleep. I can hear the sound of my stomach grumbling. Again. I choose to just ignore it and try my best to sleep. It's impossible. I need to eat something, something meat. The pasta Drew prepared for me awhile ago, somehow didn't satisfy me.
I decided to get off my bed, the spare bed Mrs. O'Brien prepared for me. I was quiet disappointed that Drew didn't even bother to talk to me or ask me how I've been. Did.he really just forget I ever exist? That's total bullshit. God, I'm talking like humans. I tiptoed downstairs to the kitchen to find something to get rid of my tummy grumbling. I quiety opened the fridges, cabinets, anything I can find but....none.
Meow
I looked down on my feet and saw Oscar. Mrs. O'Brien's beloved cat. The cat I was planning to be my dinner before I met Mrs. O'Brien who happens to be the mother of the person I was looking for. Faith is helping me. My stomach grumbled again at the thought of it's tender, sweet taste of its flesh. Since, no one is watching, I could just have this cat for myself. Just to let my stomach be at peace.
I start to bend down and picked up the cat with my both hands. I'm so sorry Oscar but I'm just really hungry. Unless you want me to eat your owner, instead? I thought to myself, wanting to say to Oscar. What would Drew and his mother say in the.morning when they found out Oscar's gone?
I begin to open my mouth wide, preparing to bite it's big, fat, delicious stomach. My saliva is now drooling because of how starving I am...
"What are you doing?" Oh not again. I looked behind me and saw a guy's tall figure. Drew. He doesn't look mad or anything, he just looks at me with a blank expression.
"Trixie? Did you hear me?" He yawns and then rubs his sleepy eyes. I was just standing here infront of him, with his cat on my hands. Thankfully, I haven't bit his cat yet. Why the hell is he still awake? Come on, Kayshel. Think of some excuse.
"Uhm...I-I was just...umm." I stuttered, looking for something to say. I looked down at Oscar and thought of something.
"Petting him. Right, yes. I was petting little Oscar." I fake a smile while stroking my fingers to the cat's fur. I glance back to Drew with a suspicious look, I was expecting him to fire me more questions but instead he just nods and walked over to me. He looks me in the eyes, stepping closer until the inches between us decreases. Is he going to kiss me? Dear god, please yes. I miss him. Why am I thinking about these things? Stop it, Kashel.
I was waiting for him to make my move but instead he bent down and kissed Oscar's head and gently caressing him making Oscar close his eyes in pleasure. I was a little bit disappointed that he didn't make a move but I'm also glad that he didn't because just one kiss from him I would've gave in and kiss him back and forget everything the pain he caused me or the evil things I'm planning up for him.
Drew walked to the fridge and pulled out a turkey sandwhich and took a bite on it. He eyes me and offered me his sandwhich. Frozen sandwhich. I shook my head and placed Oscar on the floor. He just shrugged it off and continued to chew on his food. Wow, he's really hungry, like me. I continued watching him eating the meat left on his sandwhich.
"Well I'm gonna go to my to room now." He told me while he's still chewing his food.
"Drew!" I called ang he quickly turned around.
"Yes?"
"Do you really hate me that much for pretending you never know me?" I couldn't stop myself. What's wrong with me?
"Wha-what are you talking about? Are you taking drugs?" He asked dubiously.
"Oh come on!! Stop playing games with me you killer!!"I screamed. How dare he act so innocently."Stop pretending!" I added.
"Trixie, this is my house so you should learn how to respect. How dare you accuse me of something I didn't do." He told me while staring at me blankly.
He turned around and went back to his room without even looking back.
Water.A water came out from my eyes.
"It's called tears. It comes out when you're sad or even mad." He told me while wiping my 'tears' away."I hate tears" I closed my eyes and snuggled closer to him.
"Don't worry kashel. Someday they'll understand. Everything is going to be alright. Goodnight baby. I love you"
