He stared at me in complete silence trying to figure out what I was trying to say. I kept my silence as well, only the sound of loud gunshots were heard.
Suddenly, he walked at a fast pace to towards me. He harshly gripped my shoulder and stared right at me. His eyes, they showed no hint of anger, unlike the usual Naib that got angry at everything I decide to do. Now, his eyes showed sadness, longing, worry, everything I never imagined I would see at least not to me.

He was scared.

"Naib I-"

"No! You can't!" He yelled.
"You can't go Eli..." He said.

Tears were streaming down his face and so were mine as I watched him.

"You know I have to Naib. Everything happened because of the this!" I held up the USB with the codes.
"If I destroy it everything will be back to how it is. I...I won't do a-anything other than that. I won't be going so soon..." I said.

I can't tell him the truth.

"Don't lie to me. I know that's not the only thing you're gonna do! If this place is still able to run...nothing is going to end..yet..."He said.

"How did you..." I started.

"I'm not stupid Eli I'm a spy too.This is the only lab that can produce the codes so destroying the codes will not end a single shit! The destroyed data can be restored so it can't be left there. I know you can just destroy the computer, but these people? They won't stop coming after you Eli. Knowing you, you'll kill off everyone of your enemies."He said.

I looked to the floor, unable to meet his eyes.

Why did all of that have to be true.

"Please Eli you can't leave me I just...I just got you back."A voice suddenly said.

I looked behind Naib and there stood Aesop. Tears started to pour out of my eyes as soon as our eyes met. He ran to me and hugged me tightly.

"I'm...sorry." I said.

He pulled away from me and stared at me with so much pain.

"Fine! B-but you h-have to p-promise me you'd come back!" He said between cries. "I-I-I'll hate you for life if you don't!"He said.

I grabbed a hold of his arms and wrapped them around my torso and I wrapped mine around his. I stared at him for a few seconds and reached out a hand to caress his face.

"You can't do that...I won't let you."I said.

He stared at me tear-stricken.

"I'll make sure you love me...till death do us part."I said.

He chuckled.

"Isn't that what is said during marriage?" He asked.

I rubbed his cheek with my thumb gently.

"I want to marry you."I said.

He looked at me, shock painted all over his face.
