Author's Note (1) : An Introduction

Hello AnuPre Fam!

We all are upset right now, after all we are going to say Goodbye to our beloved AnuPre in a day! As much I have maintained that I really dislike the script of the show, but AnuPre and their divine, star crossed love that knows no bound, has all my heart. The actors justified these characters with gut wrenching sincerity and no matter what 'hogwash' the script had to offer, I would login in just to get the AnuPre 'feel'.

Therefore, I have decided to give my favourite couple and my AnuPre FAM a befitting closure to AnuPre, with one more (probably last) AnuPre Fan Fiction.

This story is extremely close to my heart; I have literally put my blood and soul in every word of this story. It is my bravest attempt at contemporary writing and believe it or not, it took me 5 WHOLE YEARS to write this short story. I started with this story in early 2015 and ended it now in Oct, 2020; it has been on the editing table forever now! This story has 15 chapters and an Epilogue, but I have written at least ten versions of each chapter and scratched them to reach this version of the final output.

As you will understand, I didn't begin this story with AnuPre in mind, but it is one of my most ambitious work and was originally started as a General Fiction, but somehow the AnuPre intensity was what I had always imagined between the protagonists of this story; hence when I started watching this show, I just knew it, that whenever I publish this story, it will be an AnuPre Fan Fic. The rest is now left upon you to decide, whether I did justice to the story! :)

ABOUT THE STORY :

Well in a nutshell, this story (like most of my stories) dwell around the darker side of our emotions; questionable morals, bold decisions and breaking shackles of society.

I can promise you a version of Prerna, that is stronger than any other you have read.

I will present you with moral dilemmas that will provoke your mind and make you question almost everything in life, it will blur your boundaries of right and wrong, and each character will present you a fresh perspective.

You are bound to hate some characters, love some, switch ships midway and get emotionally exhausted; but whatever you may feel, when you leave the story, you will find a fresh perspective to nurture.

Lastly, AnuPre is EPIC, and I wanted to present this fandom with something, that I believe is EPIC, to remember by!

REGARDING UPDATES :

This story is ready with me, in fact uploaded as drafts on Wattpad. I will only need to publish. I just seek your love and support for that!

Although I can do regular updates, but I feel this narrative, even though concise, is too heavy for regular reads. I'm thinking Monday, Wednesday and Friday updates, what say?

WARNINGS :

~ This story isn't meant for socially orthodox readers, as you must have realised after reading the Excerpt I have shared, so if you go ahead and read the story, consider yourself forewarned.

~ Also, as much as character feedback, opinion, perspectives are welcome; any form of bashing isn't acceptable :)

~ Lastly this book has a very adult and matured storyline, I don't mean sexually implicit adult, or full of profanities, but deep and serious, it is not a fluff, so in case you begin reading with that expectation, you WILL be disappointed. All young readers are cautioned to pay heed to this.

READER'S FEEDBACK SECTION :

This is a new thing I have decided to start with, in this fiction.

After the Epilogue, I will upload a chapter quoting the most thought provoking comments (along with credits), my readers will leave me for the chapters; both in-line comments and overall comments will be considered.

It doesn't need to be a comment only appreciating my work; it can be a pro or a counter argument, a perspective on a character's thought, a fresh take on a character or your mere thought on the chapter; anything that pricks the mind and provokes readers to think beyond the lines written in the story. I think this will be an interesting collection to read later as an after-read considering I know my AnuPre readership is very emotionally intelligent and with a narrative like this, they are bound to come up with intriguing analogies and questions :)
