Kingsley Kwan held a deep respect for the man he called his boss. He never questioned his philosophy about the Union, nor his reasoning for moving his pawns the way he did. Kingsley simply completed his tasks in managing the internal affairs of the Union, while sometimes also performing personal tasks for the leader himself, Donald Na.

One of these particular jobs includes getting rid of Donald's late night flings early the morning after. It was a job he absolutely loathed. Just thinking about waking up at the crack of dawn to sit and wait in the early riser's home alone, waiting for some random girl to wake up and walk downstairs so he could tell her to get out and that, "Mr. Na will not be contacting you. Ever," gave him the biggest headache. Of course the girls would question him and argue back. However, they were there for ulterior motives, and both Donald and Kingsley knew it. It's just that Kingsley ended up on the bad side of the deal, having to patiently sit there in agony while the girls cussed him out, cried crocodile tears, or started threatening him.

The irony of it all is that Kingsley was often the reason that Donald Na even ended up bringing girls into his luxurious penthouse apartment. He would basically force a drink into Donald's hands, begging him to let loose for the night. After all, Donald was quite the workaholic, and when he overworked himself into a state of irritability, no one in Yeongdeungpo was safe from his wrath. And although he was on more equal-footing with Donald, not even Kingsley Kwan was guaranteed invulnerability.

This was the case of that particular night. Actually, the duo was only at the club for business, not pleasure. Yet once their job was done, Kingsley shoved a drink into Donald's hands as a means to de-stress. After only a few sips, his eyes met yours and the assistant instantly regretted his decision as he thought about what the next morning was to bring. So when he never received an early morning call to 'get rid of the pest' in Donald Na's house, he became anxious about the outcome of the night.

'Did they make it to Donald's house? Did something bad happen? A car crash? Maybe she was actually part of Eodum? Did they kidnap and torture him? Maybe even killed him? Wait... Is that even possible?'

The troubling thoughts that swirled in Kingsley's head were suddenly interrupted by his phone ringing, the name 'Donald Na' appearing on his screen.

Kingsley swiftly answered the phone, "Morning. You must have overslept. I'm heading over there now."

"Ah, that won't be necessary actually. She already left."

Kingsley paused. "Wait, she left? On her own?"

"Yeah," Donald chuckled softly, "I was just calling to make sure you had all the documents ready at the office."

"Uh, yeah of course."

"Good. I'll be there for most of the day then. Just come by later in the afternoon."

Kingsley sat there trying to process the fact that for once in his life, he did not have to chase out Donald's one night stand. Relief resonated through him as he went about his day. Eventually arriving at the office in Yeoinaru, he was a bit shocked to be greeted by a laid-back man in his boss' seat. He actually questioned himself whether it was really The Donald Na sitting there, but there was no doubt that it was him. It was unusual for Donald to act so chipper while working, and when Kingsley asked why he was in such a good mood, he would only answer by smiling and stating that he was 'expecting a call.' To Yeongdeungpo's satisfaction, this lasted for several days.

However, days turned into weeks, and Donald Na's anticipation for said call had slowly deteriorated into aggravation. Donald, who had briefly become an easygoing leader, slowly devolved into an agitated tyrant who was even more brutal than before.
