I Can't

Elsa's POV

Why can't he realize my feelings?

I tried hard but still, he can't see it.

Why is he too blind for a girl who doesn't like her?

I mean, I'm here, as his best friend. 

What does Rapunzel have that I don't.

She doesn't deserve Jack. 

She hurt my best friend. 

Jack is sweet, kind and all the charcteristics a girl's dream guy have. 

''Elsa? Elsa!'' I was awaken with my train of thoughts by Anna, my sister. 

''Oh, Hi Anna.'' I whispered and tucked a strand of loose hair behind my ear. 

''What's wrong? You look... unhappy. And disappointed.'' Anna asked.

''Well, Rapunzel busted Jack.'' I said and she sighed.

''So, what's the impact of that to you? Your not part of that situation.'' Anna said explaining. I shook my head.

''I am trying to play my part as Jack's best bud. He's hurt by a normal girl where he fell in love... hard. So, please, Anna. Please don't stop me. It's my decision.'' I said and left her standing there full of worryness in her eyes. I went to my first class and sat at the back. History. I sighed and got my phone out of my pocket.

Are you ok? 

I held my phone until it beeped.

From: Jack
To: Elsa

Yeah. I'm now ready to mingle. *Chuckles*

I know that even though Jack put a chuckle in his text, I knew he was broken. I called him and he quickly answered.

(I told you, Elsa. I'm alr-)

''No, your not. I just want to tell you that Rapunzel is not the last girl on Earth. She doesn't deserve you. I mean, she doesn't know how kind and sweet you are.'' I heard him sigh.

(Thanks, bud. I'm grateful to have a best friend like you.) 

''Yeah. I'm always here for you.'' I whispered.

(Yeah, sure. Thanks, Elsa.) And with that, he ended the call. I smiled bitterly.

Grateful. Best Friend.

Thanks for that, bud.... I got touched.

Jack's POV

I'm here in the janitor's closet. I'm planning not to go to my first class. I can't get out of my misery. Ugh, I just got busted by the girl I really really like for two years.

Jack's Flashback 4 years ago

''Jack!'' I looked at my back and saw Hiccup.

''Oh hey, Hiccup!'' I said waving my hand. He smiled and his eyes twinkled.

''What's happening?'' I asked him and he chuckled.

''The new it girl. She's very beautiful. She's the new Queen Bee of the campus. Want to check her out?'' he asked me and I thought.

''Well, meeting her isn't a sin so, yeah sure, let's go.'' I said and we walked.
