chapter 9

Jungkook was walking at the hallway when he saw Taehyung on his way. He looked at him before deciding to smile at him as he saw Taehyung giving a smile at everyone. He liked the way Taehyung smiled at everyone that he met on his way.

Then suddenly, Taehyung's gaze turned to him, and the smile on Jungkook's face immediately faded as he saw Taehyung looking at him. 

Taehyung simply smiled at him.

His heart beat so fast. But he then just blankly look at Taehyung as he passed him way

Then he continued walking, then passed Taehyung away as he went inside the classroom.

Taehyung turned around and just stared at Jungkook, who didn't even smile back at him.

"What's wrong with him?"Taehyung whispered to himself, but after that he shrugged off all his thoughts.

He then went inside and sat in his chair, ignoring Jungkook's activity on his notebook in order to focus on his own.

After the classes, Taehyung immediately went out and headed to the cafeteria. He saw Jimin there waiting for him, so he went near him.

"Heyy Chim," Taehyung said.

"Ohh you're here, why did you take so long?" Jimin said.

"I'm sorry, Chim, you know I have a quiz and my prof extended her time." Taehyung explains to him

"Oh is that so? Don't worry, I understand. I just want to eat now since I'm really hungry and I didn't eat breakfast because I woke up late in the morning," Jimin said.

"OK, just wait here, I'll just buy a meal for us." Then he put his bag and books on the table, and then he went on the counter.

When he reached the counter, he was about to take one tray, but suddenly a girl blocked him. Taehyung looked at her, then the girl looked at him too.

"Heyyy, that's mine," the girl said.

"Can you just please give it to me? My friend was hungry now and I just wanted to buy something to eat and nothing else." Taehyung said

"Don't you dare talk to me like that. Don't you know me? "Huh well I am Elise, one of the bullies here." Elise said

"I don't want to have an argument with you. So I'll just give it to you. " Taehyung said and he was about to leave, but suddenly Elise held his wrist and turned him around to face him, pushing him

He stumbles on the cold floor. Everyone inside the cafeteria is just watching them since they don't want to get involved.

Taehyung looked at her with teary eyes while Elise laughed like an evel

Jimin went on to Taehyung as he saw Taehyung sitting on the floor.

Jungkook was on his way to the cafeteria when suddenly he felt that Taehyung was in danger. Not really in danger.

As he reached the cafeteria, he went inside it and he saw everyone was silent. He roamed his eyes, then his gaze landed on Taehyung, who was now sitting on the cold floor with tears in his eyes.

He went on near them.

He saw Jimin with Taehyung. He looked at Taehyung, who was now in tears, and at Jimin, who was now trying to calm himself not to use his hidden power.

Jungkook looked at Elise, who was now smiling at him.

"Hi Jungkook," Elise said.

"Why are you here? You miss me?" Elise smiled at him sheepishly.

"What did you do to them?" Jungkook asked her with a stern tone.

"Well, I just gave them a lecture since they didn't know me and they didn't follow me." Elise said

After Jungkook heard it, he immediately held  Elise on her neck, and when Jungkook looked at him, his eyes turned red. Everyone inside the cafeteria gasped as they look at Elise who was having a hard time to breathe 

"Don't you dare do that to them," Jungkook said.

"B–but why? don't you like it?" Elise said

"Of course I don't because Jimin is my cousin." Elise widened her eyes when Jungkook said that.

"J–jungkook," Taehyung said with a cracked voice.

Then, Jungkook's eyes returned to normal. He let go of Elise, who was now panting heavily.

Jungkook went on to Jimin and Taehyung and helped Taehyung stand up.

"Taehyung, are you OK?" Jimin asked worriedly.

"I-I'm fine, chim, don't worry." Taehyung said

"Next time, be careful." Jungkook said in a cold tone

"I-I'm sorry," Taehyung said in his lower voice.

"Don't worry taehyung, it's fine, it's not your fault. In fact, it's Elise's fault. She had to learn her lesson for bullying innocent people." Jimin said, reassuring Taehyung to not worry about what happened.

"I need to leave now," Jungkook said, and he left.

"Chim, why does he always act like that? Is he cold to you?" Taehyung asked

"Yes, even in the house, he is always acting so cold," Jimin said.

"Oh is that so?" Taehyung said, looking at Jungkook, who was slowly disappearing from his sight.

"Don't worry, he will be changed." I knew it because "someone would change him." Jimin said as he smiled to Taehyung.

"Huh, what do you mean?" Taehyung said

"Ah nothing, let's eat now. I'm really hungry." Jimin said

"OK," tehyung said, and they bought food for them and went back to their place to eat their food.
