I have no idea why it took so long for me to update, everything's just been wacky and I kinda sorta moved, it's been hectic alrighty

Haku did not like their new sensei.
But honestly, there was nothing he could do, and that frustrated him to no end.
He couldn't do anything if Hinata was unwilling, which she was. He wasn't completely sure what was going through her head, but knew for a fact there was some shame and embarrasement there.
"It's just—" Haku's widely gesturing hands flew to his head. "I'm pissed!"
He recieved a sharp grin in response, and a bandaged hand ruffling his hair, telling him to calm down a bit, before they start making murder plans.
Jisho wasn't even a good sensei. He was skilled, sure, but he never bothered to cultivate his students' strengths so they had a better chance of surviving out on missions.
Once D-Rank Missions were finished and Jisho was mostly done staring creepily, he'd make Hinata spar or suggest outrageously perverted things that only made her withdraw within herself more, before leaving the team to their own devices.
Even Takeda showed his concern, in his own heated way, cursing out their sensei and yelling at Hinata to get her ass into gear and report him.
Hinata never replied to the shouts, never rose to the taunts. She just stared blankly ahead before leaving.
It was slowly breaking them. Just a bit.
Haku was frustrated with his inability to do anything, lost without the steady presence of Hinata, who had never felt so off-put before.
Takeda was frustrated, destroying training grounds and reducing the wooden posts to splinters. His knuckles flared white as he clenched a fist around the hand of his ōdachi, eyes blazing as he glared at their sensei.
It was only a matter of time before one of them shattered.

Sasori eyed the pupil in front of him.
There was no way something wasn't wrong, he just...didn't know what.
Whatever had been bothering his student had been going on for a while, that was for sure. But nothing ever lasted this long. By now, she would have finally blurted it out in frustration, vented all her problems, and they were all on the same page. Done and done.
This time, Hinata decidedly kept things to herself.
Why?
It was so absurdly unlike her that Sasori felt a little bit out of his depth. He wasn't entirely sure how to approach this.
Confront her, and risk having her clam up or shut down? Or wait for her to fold and come to him? Humans were such vexing creatures, and it was solely his fault to do something as foolish as get attached to one.
"Hinata?"
She hummed, turning her head to look up at him blankly.
He couldn't find the words. He couldn't find the right words.
"Yes?"
He was honestly not equipped to deal with this.
"Nevermind."

"Hinata?" Haku's small voice spoke up from beside her. The girl hummed a bit to show she was listening, but didn't lift her head. Usually, she'd stand tall with her head straight, but now more often than not she'd keep it bowed low. The smallest of changes in his best friend was heartbreaking.
