Chapter 3; Unexpected meeting

I actually got a bit of views!! I'm so surprised. I thought no one at all would see this and it would be me talking to myself, but I guess people really do like jeverus- if you know what I mean-,- Anyway I should probulary start the story. But I need to know if anyone wants any side ships?

It hurts. Everything aches so much. I'm pretty sure that my whole leg is purple. Why is he so brutal? It hurts to know that he was a kind man before I showed magic. What made him hate magic to the point of abuse? I wish I knew. I need some fresh air. Getting up was a pain. Literally. I'm pretty sure I pulled a muscle. I quickly got changed and dressed in suitable clothes for the park and made my way down the stairs making sure not to bump anything or make a sound. I manoeuvred myself around the creaks in the stairs and carefully opened the door, closing it quickly behind me.

I'm a ten year old with a mentality of fifty. What should I do? Thinking on the situation I made my way over to the park I haven't seen in so long. It looks exactly the same. Looking around I then spotted the same tree I used to sit and read on before. No one ever uses it except me. Others claim that only weirdos go near me. Snorting to myself I quickly make my way over and sit down opening my book and reading for the next few minuets.

"Severus? What are you doing here?" Asked a childish voice.

My heart stopped. I haven't heard that voice in so long. It sounds so innocent and oblivious. It doesn't have the slightest malice in it at all.

"L-lily?" I whimpered, unable to comprehend what's going on.

"Oh Severus! What did that vile man do to you?! Did he hurt you again? You look like your about to be in tears!" She asked in a motherly tone.

This time I couldn't hold it in. I burst out crying with Lily rubbing soothing circles. This is so embarrassing. I'm a fifty year old man crying because of something like this.

"Don't worry Severus, remember we are going to Hogwarts tomorrow! It'll all be over once we get there. Or if too much then you come over to stay with us at our home tonight! My mum would surely welcome you in immediately!" She asked in an enthusiastic tone.

"N-no it's fine, I can handle I-it a b-bit longer." I answered in small voice.

"Are you sure Severus?" She asked, concern swimming in her eyes.

"Y-yes, thank you L-lily." I stuttered out.

"Anything for my best friend! Why don't you come over for dinner today! You can explain Hogwarts a bit more to mom and dad while I tell what happened to me yesterday!" She shouted in a delighted tone.

"O-okay, as long as your p-parents don't mind-d," Stop damn stuttering! Your making a fool out of yourself!

"Don't worry they love having you around! They always compliment you!" She laughed as she saw Severus blush at the praise.

The rest of the night was surrounded with laughter and happiness. True to her words, Lily's parents loved having Severus around and were saddened by the fact that they cannot adopt him from the disgusting man. Alas, at least the boy didn't lose the will to live.

This is what a family looks like and I wish I could stay here forever. At least tomorrow I will go to Hogwarts. Thankfully my younger self already packed yesterday. Thank god I was prepared as a child!

This was a bit rushed but I like the way it turned out. The next chapter will hopefully be Lily and Severus meeting the mauderes on the train and James being confused as to why he likes Severus so much! But don't worry Severus won't suddenly fall in love with James the moment they look at each other, in fact Severus is going to hold a grudge against them and they won't know why he does!
