So, I haven't updated in a while and I'm sorry, but in my defence, the teachers won't give me a break! They gave me assignments to complete as I sadly have a test week. For the next week, I'll be doing exams. If I don't post in a while, that's my excuse. :) So that's why I haven't updated. Anyway, sorry for ranting on you all. Enjoy ^,^

Sitting in the compartment, with Severus and his friend, had to be one of the most awkward things I have ever gone through in my entire life. No one was talking! It was basically me and my thoughts that kept bombarding my head and keeping me entertained. That is until Sirius, bless his soul, decided to break the uncomfortable silence.

"So, um, What houses do you all want to be in?" Sirius asked, gaining the attention of everybody.

YES! Thank you Sirius. Now I can find out more information about Severus because friends need to know information about other friends.

"Well!" Lily's exuberant voice cut through my thought's.

"Severus told me all about the houses and what each one represents! The Gryffindor house represents courage, nerve and chivalry! Ravenclaw's are clever, creative and resourceful! Most of the Hufflepuff's are loyal, patient and true. And last but not least, Slytherin's represent cunning, ambitious and traditional!" Lily began to ramble on about how she wanted to be in Gryffindor because she thinks it matched her personality.

"Wait a second, you got something wrong Evans." Sirius's voice cut through.

Lily turned to look at Severus in confusion. Severus was almost never wrong.

"Did I explain it wrong, or something?" She asked. Severus would be lying if he said he was not also confused. He was a teacher at Hogwarts for bloomin sakes! That must be correct.

"Well not wrong, I guess. Ya just missed a bit of extra information." He shrugged.

Lily eyes sparkled at learning more information, "What! What did I miss?"

"Slytherins. Slytherins are slimy git's. Trust me, I know, I live with them. Each and every one of them are dirty liars. Be careful when your near them. All my family have become Slytherins. It's tradition." Jabbing his thumb at his chest he joyfully exclaimed, "I'm gonna be the first ever Gryffindor in our family! Sure they may hate me but they'll get over it!"

"Um, I know not all Slytherins are bad." Severus's meek voice cut through Sirius's loud declaration.

"Huh, Snape I have proof. All Slytherins are disgusting and no one can change my mind." He declared.

"My mum was a Slytherin and she was amazing." He whispered. Sadly, everyone was able to hear it. Including Sirius.

"Are you sticking up for the slimy git's?! Oh I know why! Your one of them, aren't you!? Disgusting. The lot of you Slytherins. I bet your mother was one of them snakes too!"

Severus would neve admit it but no one has ever spoken to him like that. Sure he remembers many bullies but that was all in the past. He forgot how it feels to be bullied.

Lily decided, right then that Sirius Black was as bad as they come.

"Don't talk to Severus like that! If anything your the snake here! Severus has never even looked at a fly in a bad way!"

"Fine. Snape. Do you want to be in Slytherin or not." Sirius asked.

"W-well I w-want t-to follow in m-my mums f-foot steps.." Severus responded. They almost couldn't hear him. He sounded like he wanted to cry.

And in that moment James wanted to cry with him. Not for the same reason of course. He just found out that his Severus wanted to go Slytherin!

Oh well.

He'll have to change that, won't he?

Hehe, I should be revising, but oh well. Seriously though, next week I have loads of tests that I'll do. I may not update in a few days but once it's the weekend, ima force myself to write! James thinks that what he feels for Severus is friendship but obviously its not. I plan to make him obsessive and touchy. I don't know if Severus should stay in Slytherin or go to a different house. I'm 90% sure he's going to stay in Slytherin though. Hope yall enjoyed and wish me luck on my test's!
