It was just a normal Thursday morning. Wearing my usual plain black v-neck shirt and black jeans, I walked through the hallway of our university's ground floor. I was just ignoring everyone's presence just like they do, for who in a thousand of well-known students would care to even take a look at a weirdo like me, when suddenly a guy in his usual gray hoodie placed his left hand above my head that made me stopped from walking.
I leered at him. "What do you need?" I annoyingly asked.
"I need you to do my assignment before the class starts," he answered. I looked at my wrist watch and saw that it was 7:13 AM, 17 minutes before my first class.
"What do I get in return?" I asked.
"Me," he said. He came closer to me, covering the small distance between us. I didn't know what to do, so I remained standing, holding my breath to not create an unpleasant demeanor.
"Just kidding," he continued. He laughed a bit and stood firmly. I gave out a deep sigh.
"Just like I always do," he smiled and walked away. I knew that he'd go to the library. Checking the time, it was already 7:15. I knew that I would get late if I'll do what he wants me to, but for the sake of books (that he buys for me everytime I do his school works) then I should give it a quick shot.
I walked towards the direction he went, but I immediately stopped when I saw him holding the hands of a girl wearing her beautiful floral dress, which matches her long and shiny hair and red heels. It was Verlien, his girlfriend.
All eyes that could see them, stays on them. They are really the couple who gets anyone's attention.
After a few minutes, Sean kissed his girlfriend's lips and walked again. I leered for that public display affection. Uh.
I followed him distantly until I got into the library. There I saw him sitting, taking out some papers out of his backpack. I went to his area and sat at the chair directly in front of him.
"What will I do?" I asked. He handed me the papers and I saw that it was Mathematics related; as what I've expected.
I got the pen he placed in the table and started answering his papers quietly. Minutes passed, I was in the middle of solving when I noticed that he was staring at me. I stopped and looked at him. "Why?"
"You're quiet, huh."
"I'm really quiet," I reasoned out.
"Not that quiet. You usually scold me everytime you do my paper works but now, I haven't heard any word," he said. Oh, he now cares about my quietness. I thought no one does.
"You're ugly when you don't speak." He chuckles. "But besides, you're still ugly when you speak," he continues. "So whatever."
That's it. He might make my knees tremble, he might show that he cares, he might make me feel different, but after a while, he teases me with his mockeries that might piss me off. What kind of mood does this man have?!
After minutes of answering and trying to ignore his presence, I gave him the paper and walked out. He doesn't have to say anything about the bribe for I know that we'll meet later at 6 PM at the park for that- as what he called "he always do."
I looked at my wrist watch and it was 5:50 PM. I headed to the park where we usually meet for the 'books.'
I saw him sitting at one of the benches there. There are only a few people in the park since it's getting dark, that's why my eyes found him easily. Or maybe my eyes are just familiar of him?
