It's late fall and early winter, you're wearing an orange jacket. You are walking home from school. As you're heading home, you hear the smallest of whimpers coming from the woods
You: Hm?
You head towards the whimpering cries for help. You find what was whimpering. It is a lone fox
You: Aww
You crouch down and extended your arm to pet the fox but the fox becomes scared and tries scooting away
You: W-Wait I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you
You slowly extend your arm towards the fox's nose. The fox hesitantly sniffs the tip of your finger, then your fingers, then your palm
You: Are you okay?
The fox looks at you for a moment
You: Are you hurt?
The fox then looks at his leg then back towards you
You: Oh, your leg is injured, huh?
You think for a moment while the fox looks at you in confusion
You: I could take you home and take care of you until you're healed
The fox then scooted away a little in fear
You: It'll be fine, you can trust me, I have a bunny that I take care of
You extend your hand
You: Can I take care of you?
The fox hesitated in moving towards you but then he started whimpering and curled up into a ball due to the pain throbbing in its leg
You: Oh no, are you okay?
You pick up the fox but as you picked up the fox, it growls
You: I-It's okay, I'll take care of you
You softly pet the fox. The fox then stopped growling and began to snug into your arms
You: I promise I'll heal you
You stand up with the fox in your arms. You then began to look around
You: But first....
You take off your jacket and cover the fox so that no one sees the fox
You:....you can't be seen by these other human beings
You walked out of the woods and back to your normal route to your house with the fox in your arms covered by your jacket

You: It's not much but it's the closest thing I could find
The fox looks at you confused
You: I've never had a fox before, Okay?
The fox continued looking at you
You: Give me a break here. Now...
You pick up the fox
You:...let's take a look at your leg here
