(Y/n) POV

"Hey it's that hero! She's the one that caught the Yakuza and saved those people!"
I heard one of the people saying as they all seemed to perk up at the mans words.

"Can we get out of here? Now, please?"
I asked Dabi as he nodded and I grabbed him to get away from the people before more of them could gather near me.

"You must really hate the press."
He chuckled in my arms as I dropped down in a more secluded looking area of the city.
I put him down standing beside me while he relaxed again with his hands ruffling his hair.

"I don't need to be called a hero, I don't want to be."
I sighed having my wings absorb into my back while I fixed my dress.

"You don't want to be a hero? You sure as hell seem like one."
He said while I flew beside him now circling him and giggling to myself.
I watched him hold back a small laugh as I did small laps around his body.

"I don't need a title for being nice to people, granted we did meet by you almost burning people alive but same difference."
I shrugged while he began walking with me floating beside him.

"Are you sure you aren't from this world? You share the same ideas as someone who recently just exposed his views on the subject."
Dabi sounded a bit more calm now talking about the person but his fist did clench slightly while I dropped down to walk beside him.

"I'm not, but I don't see why people should be labeled as whatever for their actions. Like how they call you a villain, I'm not sure why, you don't seem like a bad person."

I shrugged while Dabi looked at me with somewhat wide eyes and a small smile tugging on his lips.

"I'd say you don't know me, but I appreciate it Princess."
He chuckled lowly as I smiled sweetly at him and grabbed his hand and I squeezed softly.

"Well I'd say you just got fucked up when you were younger and it set ya down a bad path, I hate being so preachy but it reminds me of some of my team back home."

He gave me a confused glance as we walked beside a bunch of abandoned buildings and other fairly quiet streets.

"You're Team?"

"Yea if it makes you feel any better about the people you've killed before, we had a war about 3,000 years ago and most of my team was part of it. They killed thousands of not millions, not excluding myself. Normally devils don't get involved but I decided to anyways."

I noticed some movement from the other side streets but I didn't pay much attention to it.

"Hell, I had the highest kill count of any soldier in the war. My total was 498,372 alone. This included goddesses, demons, fairies, humans, you name it I probably killed at least one of em. So as far as I'm concerned I was praised as a hero before, but I hated the title it had no meaning."

I explained while he looked at me with wide eyes, his lips parted as though he was about to say something when he stopped and glared at something behind me.

"Dabi, pleasure to see you again."
Kai said though it was pretty muffled by his mask, and this time it didn't seem like Eri was anywhere with him.

"What exactly do you need BirdBrain?"
Dabi sounded pissed now as I just sighed to myself between the two men.

"I take it you two have a bit of a history?"
My question was more rhetorical than anything but they nodded glancing at me for a few moments.

"Oh it's nothing much, he did kill one of Tomura's little play things before."
I assumed Dabi meant 'Palm Face' when he said Tomura, but this surprised me slightly.

"It's not like it was in cold blood Patch Work, he simply got in the way."
Kai shrugged casually while Dabi seemed to be getting a bit more pissed than I would've expected from him.

"You didn't answer me Bird Bastard, why are you here?"
Dabi questioned again while Kai just glanced at me.

"I came to discuss a few things with (y/n) here, it's nothing serious."
Kai said with his broken voice sounding a bit more smug than when I had talked to him before.
His gaze was now solely focused in a death glare looking at Dabi.

"I'm sure you don't mind me staying then."
Dabi said while Kai broke his glare and glanced at me again while chuckling to himself.

"You two are pretty similar, that's a surprise."
Dabi glanced at me with an eyebrow raised for a moment, this didn't last long though before I noticed Kai taking his glove off again.

"For a devil with a kill count at almost half a million, I'm truly surprised you're being praised as a new hero here."
Kai continued as I smiled up at him, I watched his cheeks flush red while I spread darkness on my arm and went to grab the glove from his still clothed hand.

It seemed Dabi knew what I was doing so he stood back while I took the thin fabric from Kai's hand.

"You were listening to that? I'm flattered but unfortunately that was 3,000 years ago, my count has gone up since then."
I purred twirling the fabric between my fingers.

"Oh? So may I ask what it is now?"
He said reaching his gloved hand to touch my face.
I swore I could feel Dabi fuming behind me, literally. Because there was a very intense heat behind me I turned for a moment to see his hands were burning up at his sides.

"I've lost track over time, it's well over 2 million though."
I snickered watching his eyes widen slightly at my words but he kept the same smug attitude. I couldn't see his face due to his mask but I figured he was smirking under it.

"You really are a super solider aren't you?"
He teased running his finger across my cheek as I pulled his mask down. In all honesty, I was surprised he let me do this but I didn't have time to question it.

"We can discuss anything you'd like at a later date, but I promise you if you touch him I won't hesitate to add you to my count."
I giggled while he sighed with his lips curling into a mischievous grin.

"Thank you Angel, come and find me when you're done."
He said simply pulling his hand away from my face and walking away.
I kept his glove in my hand while I watched him walk through a portal and disappear.

"I hate that guy."
Dabi said walk up to me again and still glaring at the spot he had disappeared from.

"I figure, he would've hurt you if I didn't show him some affection though so."
Shrugging I walked back to Dabi and grabbed hold of his arm since his hands were still on fire.

"I know, that's the problem."
He seared, the fire on his hands began to die down now as we walked.

"I'd say I'd want you to come back and spend more time with me where we can relax, but I'm with a bunch of the students from before on the campus. And I doubt they'd let you there willingly."

I said forming my darkness into a ball and spinning it around in my hand.

"Just come stay with me, I'm sure the others would be more than pleased to see you again."
Dabi offered while I sighed but nodded non the less.
