Sometime in the Future, Miami South Beach Hotel

                                                                                      
You know how it is....

"Hey stranger", Cadence said in a husky voice, "you look good" she continued, while slowly grazing her eyes up and down my body. I couldn't have done anything at that moment but just stand there. There was always something about her that drove me wild, all I could have done at that moment was to let her objectify me, I didn't mind, I liked it, I loved her, that's the way it is and would always be.

This was something we planned, we did this every year, every year we would spend a few days together locked up in a hotel, just us, one on one, together then we would go back to our everyday lives, where I would work, and she would paint, and make music for the world to see and hear.

"How have you been", she said a smirk forming on her face, that smirk, it's that type of smile that makes you wonder what the hell is going on up there in that big beautiful brain of hers.

"I'm good", I said in the most exhausted voice ever.

"What's going on?, do you want to talk about?", I shook my head from side to side in response.

"What I want, is for you to make me forget about everything". She looked at me with those caring eyes. The truth is, I know she cares for me, just like I care for her, we just, it's complicated, "I just want you too"...., I said running my fingers through my hair. She understood what I meant, there was no reason for me to explain to her, she knew what I was thinking, she always knew, it was just something that came naturally.

She came up to me, kissed me on my forehead, then kissed my nose, then my lips. We made out for a couple of minutes, trying to re-familiarize ourselves with one another. She tasted like watermelon, her favourite fruit. I kissed her back, our kisses so soft and tender, then gradually turned into something almost frantic like we couldn't get enough of each other. I put my right leg around her waist, she smirked and pulled me in closer. We stood there kissing one another for quite some time, it might have been kissing but to me, it felt like our souls were finding one another once again.

We broke off the kiss to give one another some air, "where are you headed to next?" I asked her while I used my thumb to fix the smudged lipstick on my lips.

"Umm Brazil and then back to Costa Rica", she said playing with her necklace

"Wow, you love doing what you're doing, don't you?"

"Yea I do, remember back in the day when it was so hard for me to find something I was good at? Well look at me now, I almost feel complete," she said laughing

"Almost complete?" I said raising an eyebrow and eyeing her at the time

"Yea almost", she said getting up from the bed

I didn't push any further because I knew her and her behaviour, Il ask her about it when I'm eating her out, I always tend to get a better response around those times. Pillow talk is always the best time to ask a lover anything that's on your mind, I thought to myself and grinned.
